W8-BEN Form Inquiry

Hi there,

This is my first time posting here; typically, I'm not one to complain. However, I've tried my best and exhausted all efforts, yet I can't seem to resolve this issue. To summarize the situation:

- April 13, 2023: I submitted my W8-BEN form.

- April 13, 2023: I received an automatic notification of successful submission.

- April 18, 2023: I received my first message from Zazzle, stating, 'We could not read the W8 form you submitted as the resolution is too low.

- April 19, 2023: I re-sent my W8-BEN form with a clearer image.

- April 25, 2023: I received a response from Zazzle:

  • Zazzle requested that I update my address to match the information on both the W8-BEN form and my Zazzle account's Payment Settings.
  • Zazzle asked me to correct the date to the right of my signature to match the submission date on the form.

- April 27, 2023: Even after receiving the email from Zazzle, I still couldn't pinpoint my mistake. So, I replied to Zazzle's email, seeking clarification on how to modify the address on the W8-BEN form.

- May 11, 2023: I received another response from Zazzle:

  • Zazzle provided specific instructions on how to make the necessary changes on the W8-BEN form. I deeply appreciated this.
  • Additionally, they requested that I provide my Foreign Tax ID (FTIN) in Part I, section 6.

- June 19, 2023: I completed all the requested modifications and added my Foreign Tax ID to my W8-BEN form. I then sent the updated form back to them. From this point on, I lost contact with Zazzle.

- July 22, 2023: I sent a reminder email to Zazzle, informing them that I had emailed them the W8-BEN form. Unfortunately, I received no response.

-August 3, 2023: Refusing to give up, I continued to email Zazzle. This time, it was a new email submitting my W8-BEN form again. However, as of today, August 21, 2023, I have yet to receive any response from Zazzle.

I just feel ignored. Normally, I should be excited about sales, but instead, I feel like Zazzle is benefiting from my efforts without any intention of compensating me someday... What should I do? Has anyone else faced a similar situation?

can you tell me the current status of your w8ben for, i am also a designer on zazzle and facing the same issue, i lost connection to zazzle they just said "we are looking into this matter" feeling helpless. kindly help
