w8BEN problems - again

Been selling on Zazzle since 2011. Moved in 2016, submitted revised w8BEN, no problem.

Moved 2023, did exactly the same and am now informed

Thank you for submitting your W8 form on the 4th of October


We received your email but unfortunately the Payment Settings still does not include any of your information. 
Upon review of your account, I can confirm that your Zazzle account under [email address removed] was first created in 2016. Which email address that was used to create your Zazzle account in 2011? 
Please complete your Payment Settings and resend the signed form back to us as an attachment to the following email address: zazzle-w8@zazzle.com

where are the payment setting on the w8BEN??

If this refers to payment settings on my Zazzle account, I have already updated them - only needs the new address

@kennethwfd I would edit your post remove your email address - this is a public forum and gets crawled by bots no doubt.

Your payment settings are https://www.zazzle.com/my/earnings/paymentsettings and the Payee Information needs to match the W8BEN exactly

 

Hit the wrong button, visited that page and ensured the details are up to date. did exactly the same in 2016, no problem. did the same in 2023, and Zazzle says that my payment settings do not contain any information

No progress, still just as confused

I believe the issue to be a technical one because despite altering nothing else apart from my residential address, first I got an error message saying that this address was not recognised by the US postal system and would be unable to deliver to this address, for some unknown reason, Zazzle thinks I am a US citizen living outside the US and wants my social security number. It refused to accept that I am a UK cutizen, so shut down the browser, logged into my Zazzle account, and tried again. Whether it has worked, I don't know, which is why I need more assistance than being told to log in to that page.

I have already done so and spent a frustrating half hour over what should have taken a couple of minutes

@kennethwfd as you're in the UK - do you do updates on the .co.uk site or the .com? If you're getting errors on one - try the other

What I see, when I log into my Zazzle account and go to the "payment settings" page is that all the information is up to date and correct, which it has always been bar around half an hour yesterday, and was rectified at the time. 

So why do the W8BEN team keep rejecting my application on the basis that there is no information regarding my payment settings? Not even incorrect details, but no payment settings?

@kennethwfd you'll have to continue the conversation with the W8BEN team as only they can help you concerning the payment settings. If you have completed them correctly and updated your W8BEN (and sent it to them again) with your new address and it matches exactly with the details you've put in the payment settings, and your payment email for paypal hasn't changed yet you're still getting errors, they need to investigate further

I keep telling them that, but just get an automated response regarding my payment settings!!!
