What to do with Discontinued products and what happens to 3rd partys

If we delete a discontinued product what happens to any links from your 3rd party. I see form earlier posts that Z will take the product out of Market place search.

So what occurs if we deleted them, Verses if we just let them be / what will they see.   I would like to keep them is store and hope they will look around for a similar product.    I hope they don't come up with a product not available or whatever would frustrate a  customer with  a dead end.     Ty    Peter222

Use your own judgement. Here's my take on it: For example: I have a product that last sold nov 2016, sold 3 times,31 views, 1 likes, was long ago discontinued. Since Z doesn’t seem to state clearly whether it affects my rank by deleting it, I have hidden it. Last viewed, by me, april 2024. Discontinued, no longer in marketplace, since the product is NOT available, so why not just either delete if not sold or low views,or hide it?
