Why is it so hard to set up my item for sale on Zazzle? I have made several designs for coffee mugs and I want to put them up for sale in my store, but I can't find the option to do so. It keeps trying to get me to buy my own product or go collaborate with someone else. What am I missing?

Have you used a Zazzle background or one of the icons? Use either of those and you cannot sell the items, only purchase.

Did you perhaps use the Create tool rather than the Design tool to create your products? The two tools are nearly identical, but the Create tool is mostly intended for customers to create their own products, while the Design tool for designers to use.
If, while you're designing, you see an orange "Buy" button in the upper right hand corner of the screen, with a green "Share" button to the left of it - you're in the Create tool and you need to start over from the Design tool (unfortunately, I don't think you can transfer a design from one to the other.)
If you start from here: Create Your Own Custom Mugs - Design Your Own Mugs | Zazzle you should end up in the correct place.
