' Show Me' posts are currently dominating the main feed, as such I have to scroll through multiple pages of the main feed now to find 'what's new' in terms of substance postings, which I like to do a couple of times a day.

It would be great if we could 'switch off' certain forums from that main feed so we can 'skip' them so to speak.

It might also be helpful to expand on the last sentence under the About Show Me heading.

Something to the effect of "To find a specific product theme (and to reduce the incidence of duplicate Show Me threads), you can use the search bar just below this informational text. For example, enter Throw Blankets in the search bar to see if a thread with Throw Blankets already exists."

It would be great to have a mute option available in the drop down or in account preferences.

Is it showing only new posts? I noticed this too, yesterday it was just full of one Zazzler posting duplicates of post that are already there, with only there items in it? Almost liked they worked out they could keeping adding new topics to get them to show up on the opening screen? I don't mind seeing a few 'show me's' but agree a whole screen of just one designer gaming the system was a bit much! Maybe one from each section would be a good work around on the opening page? Maybe updates too?

I have just created a 'new show me' so yes has to be a completely new post fortunately no one had already done one the humble baby bibs 😁  so that was handy, I couldn't find another product without a show me thread already set up! Yes it seem this will lead to more people posting duplicates just to be seen, sorry I have added to it but wanted to test the theory 🤔 Either way I think it would be good to **bleep** that in the bud some how as I know promoters use the 'show me's' and if lots of different individual threads that is going to make it harder to pick them all up and promote. I love the simple duplicate finder, so no excuse to do double ups really is there?

Hi @CreativeLeahG,

Thanks for your post and feedback. I'll pass this along to our team to see if there is anything we can do on this.

All the best,

Pádraig 🙂

When a long series of posts violates the Show Me Forum conventions in one day, it's a good idea to report one or two of those posts as "inappropriate content". The mods can combine threads, delete threads, and advise the person who is doing the posting.
