If there's not an easy way to see this (please let me know if I've overlooked it) then it would be super beneficial to have this function in the new customizer. When I look at the layers, I wish I could see at a glance or a hover what has been made a template object. As it is right now (as far as I can tell), I have to click twice to see if I've templated something. We also used to be able to see that quickly and easily on the product page. Now I'm so nervous as I'm chugging along and designing something - maybe with lots of photos and/or lots of text boxes - that I will overlook something and not realize.

If you look at 'Edit' on the left sidebar, it shows what is templated. It just doesn't give custom template names if you made them. It was definitely easier to see when it showed in the layers.

Oh my gosh how did I miss that? It doesn't show up until you make something a template object so I suppose that's how I managed to overlook it and then because of the little + + I guess I just assumed it was an ai thing? THANK YOU, @jophb ! It would still be nice to see in the layers like before but good to know that's there.
