Discontinued Options within Featured Products

If you have products in your Featured Products area, and then one these products later on has a discontinued option placed on it.  There's no way to remove it from the Featured Products area.  
Suggest, let us have the option to move it from featured products or it is automatically removed from any Featured products area somehow.
This product: 235297723497929793 is one that is stuck in mine for example.

Thank you for bringing this up @LauraLee .  I didn't even add any products to the Featured Category of my new stores because I can't figure out how to remove the ones from my first store. I'd love to be able to remove some very old products.

From what I've experience, PAZP, you can click on the drop down under the product in the backend...and click Remove, and then another popup says Remove from Featured Products?  And if nothing happens that same day, it could take within a few days - something like when moving a product to different categories.  It takes the Zazzle software system to update it.

I just tried out your recommendation. As slow as things are here, I assumed nothing would happen so I'll wait a few days and hopefully I will be pleasantly surprised. 👍

Just an FYI. On 4/18 I removed all the products in my featured area. I see today, 9 days later, the products are still there. I just added a group of new ones but I realize those MAY not appear for several days.

Can someone please look into why products aren't getting removed when we go through the process to take them out of there? Thank you.

I just wanted to bump this post since I have a number of products that I tried to remove from the Featured Products category and they all still appear there. I've tried to remove them waited at least a week to see they were still there and tried again to remove them with no luck.

I'm very sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue here. It is one we are aware of and are currently investigating. A ticket has been logged for the issue so hopefully this will be addressed in the near future.

Where do featured products actually show up? There is an option to add to featured products but then can't find them anywhere after that

@Harmony   When you go to your settings within your store.  Then go to Advanced Settings.  When you have the Products selected and moved to the Visible settings box, you have two choices.  All products or Featured products.  You can click either one.  All products picks out your popular products (that comes from the same choices the Zazzle algorithm chooses on your public store page every day).  We cannot change those, but if you choose your own Featured products, you can choose to have only those show up on your homepage of your store.
