These are changes just to change stuff. If it's not broke, why "fix" it. I won't be able to find replies to this. I don't even know where this post is or how I got here. What a freaking mess. Why?

I'm with you, said it from day 1 - the old forum was so much easier to use.  This one leaves me scratching my head and I only come on here once in a while to see if someone is asking to promote certain products that I might have as I'm terrible at promoting and could use all the help I can get.  Once I do that, I may spend a little time looking through other forums, but it just seems overwhelming to me.  With the old forum I could just hit "new since I was last on" and it would show me all the new posts in all of the forums.  I so miss that.

The this new community layout requires to many clicks to get around. If I look at a comment, I can't seem to just go back to the start page (or how isn't apparent). I have to click back thru everything to page. I don't find locating the topics (like Feedback & Suggestion or Technical) easy to locate on a side menu or something. Too much scrolling.

I'm like not likely going to use this community much if it's going to be so complex to get around in.

The new forum reminds me of the first major change to the original design tools that happened years ago.  Those of us who have been here for many years will no doubt remember that fiasco.  Completely click intensive, hard to navigate, and so poorly conceived, painful to use and time consuming that there were only a few defenders; most users were hard pressed to find positive things to say.  The universal panning forced Zazzle back to the drawing board.  Thankfully the second incarnation of design tool changes (and later ones) were much better conceived and were well received.

Hopefully Zazzle is looking toward a second incarnation of the forum which combines the intuitive ease of use, common sense navigation of the old forum with some of the new functions.  I personally find the current incarnation of the forum to be ridiculously hard to navigate, poorly laid out, way too click intensive, and a complete time suck. Not to mention we are still missing the upper level protected forums.  I used to be pretty well informed after visiting the old forums and could normally get through new posts in a relatively short period of time (unless there was a hot issue). I am now far less informed.  The new forums just give me a headache so I don’t even want to visit.  👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

I agree with Zorinda.  I guess if the goal was to keep the vocal few out of the forums it might work.  because I don't have time to comb through this forum looking for pertinent information.  It is a time suck.

I feel bad for newbies who are looking for help though because they are far less likely to get it quickly in this forum if at all.
