Making the search box more noticeable

The search box is difficult to locate because it's light gray on white. This is true even though I've been here a number of years and ought to know where to find it. What might it be like for the customer, particularly since it's slowly become even less likely to be seen immediately because of all the picture links, links that don't show the true depth and breadth of Zazzle. Certainly, there are customers determined enough to find the search box, but what about the others who can easily get caught in the cul de sac of those pictures? My suggestion is to make search more immediately noticeable via higher contrast and maybe even a short phrase such as "What are you looking for?"
