In other apps I've used, a background photo can be moved in the design tool to set it where you want it.  For instance - if your background photo is slightly larger than the print area - you can move it up or down to set it where you want it.

Can this be done in Z design tool and I just don't know how?  If not, it would be helpful.

The "backgrounds" are fixed in both size and position - but there's no reason you need to use that function.... put whatever you want in your background on a layer and move that layer to the bottom. Do realize that some items that have more than one side, like pillows, will need that image duplicated onto each side - or on certain products, like binders, can coolers, gift boxes placed on a specified background layer that encompasses the entire product  Then you have access to all of the design tools that you can use on any other element -  including positioning, cropping, resizing, tiling, etc.
Personally I only ever use the 'background' function for solid colors.

Thanks!  Interesting to read you only use for solid colors. I might have to rethink some designs.
