As many will remember, the old forum had several thread topics that had 3 or more individual threads. I just came across a new duplicated thread with subject of NEWEST PRODUCT CREATED

Original thread from january
Recent thread from 6/16/22

I have seen several other threads that seemed to be duplicates, but did not take the time to investigated.

Can we get a button/link to notify Forum Moderators of suspected duplicates. They can then merge the threads and keep the forum from being as inflated as the old one was.

We can use the report tab, and add duplicate links in the message bar that appears.

You just type 'duplicate thread' then link threads.

@CreativeLeahG  Thanks for that suggestion (It took me a while to locate a "Report Inappropriate Content" on the edit this post drop down, not on the Thread OPTIONS)

This might be a work-around. However, a dedicated button/link would be more user friendly. If the notice went to a specific person/team to organize the forum threads, that would be more efficient than hoping that a moderator might see it and act on it.

From my own observations, they see them all and do act on them. It is very effective method. That said, I'm not sure how easy or time-efficient merging comments to a single thread is. ie. Whether things can be done in one click or each comment has to be transferred uniquely.
