Hi Zazzle Team,

As the international situation escalates, don't you think it would be just the perfect timing to introduce the long awaited option to get our payments directly to our own bank accounts?
I'm pretty sure it would have more positive impact on your valued Creators' lives than changing a button color to a different shade of blue or making the profile picture round instead of square.
I know, Americans think that PayPal is a little piece of heaven, but in most of the other parts of the world, it's just an unnecessary third party with bunch of ridiculously high charges, nonsense limitations and verification requirements, and long processing times.

(No, I'm not russian.)

Hi @SBS,

Thanks for making this suggestion. I will pass it on to the team again for consideration.

Be aware that direct bank transfers from US banks to other countries usually come with high fees and long processing times. If you live within the EU, don't be fooled about the free SEPA transfers, these are only free within the EU. I live in Italy and whenever I get a SEPA payment from Switzerland (within SEPA but outside the EU), I get charged an 11€ fee plus additional % at higher amounts.

That being said, you don't get charged Paypal fees for Zazzle payments, Zazzle takes care of them. I know all the problems associated with Paypal, I had my surprises, too, in the past. But Paypal has changed a lot in the past years, and with Paypal's business card you can now withdraw cash and pay directly from your Paypal account. It's not available in all countries, tho.

Not saying there is no need for alternate payment methods, but international bank transfers from the US are definitely not the best option.

Yes, I do get charged PayPal fees, I've been getting various payments for at least 10 years, so I have quite an experience. They say it's free, but it's not, and prepaid cards are only available in a couple of countries.

If I get my dollars to my account and they force me to convert to my **bleep**ty currency (with their high conversion fees) before sending to my bank account, then it's not free. I wish it would only cost 11€ fee plus that additional %. They currently charge 8,47 USD for every 100 USD I get. Far from being free. Then if I want my dollars back, my bank charges about 2,8 USD for every 100 USD. (And I also pay tax for those amounts that I never get to spend too, which is about 56%).

And on top of that, they literally make it impossible to move to a different country, with their impossible verification requirements. (I even had trouble jumping those hoops in the country I was born, I've been living since then, have residency, bank account...) While opening a bank account anywhere else would be much easier.

11 EUR equals 12 USD, and this is a fixed fee, no matter if you send me 10 or 100 EUR. Over 250 I have to pay variable fees on top of that. Bank transfers from and to the US are even more expensive (starting at approx 25 if things haven't changed).

Paypal's services and fees are subject to national banking regulations and partnerships, so they can vary from country to country. Not different than with other providers, Moneygram and Western Union included.

In my case (Italy), I pay up to approx 5% Paypal fees when I get paid by customers, depending on if they pay with their PP balance or a Credit Card. Payments from Zazzle I got at full amount until now, without any PP fees applied, which are probably paid by Zazzle (I assume). I have a business account with EUR being the primary and USD the secondary currency. USD payments are credited on my USD account and I use this one for USD purchases or I convert the cash manually to EUR when needed. Withdrawals to my bank account are free of charge (imposed by EU regulation I assume), and transfers to prepaid cards cost something little, not truly a big thing. I don't use these transfers anymore, since I got the new PP business card that is directly linked to the PP acct.

For me, Paypal is the best option, unless I can use the free SEPA system within the EU. Of course, there are providers that have slightly fewer fees and better exchange rates than Paypal, but IMO the difference is negligible and the wide acceptance of PP is more important to me. International bank transfers outside the EU are definitely the worst option.

Perhaps adding Stripe for payments wouldn't be a bad idea, it's getting more and more popular. If you live in some "remote" places, though, you will probably encounter similar issues. In regard to bank transfers, I suggest finding out what sort of fees you have to expect in your specific case.

Not all Americans think Paypal is a slice of Heaven, I think it was born in the lower regions and still resides there.  I don't want to connect Paypal with my bank account as I've heard horror stories of bank accounts being emptied by hackers due to that.  Therefore, my pay that goes to paypal must be spent via paypal and they stick up for the companies, not the consumer.  They refuse to help at all.  I lost over $50 two years ago with a company that stated I received their product and I never did.  That same company had comments all over facebook community at the same time I had this happen many many others did too yet Paypal refused to refund any of our money.  I HATE paypal - but if I want my money more than once or twice a year, paypal it is.

I'd LOVE to be able to have direct deposit from Zazzle to my bank account.

Please, please give us direct bank deposits!  you are behind the times.  Even Ebay does bank deposits now.  don't make us beg...

People who do not have US bank accounts have the option of using Wise (former Transfer Wise). I have a US, EU and NZ bank account with them. Even have a Mastercard. I transfer money back and forth all the time for minimal fees. PayPal for international sellers is painful and unnecessary.
