I'm sure Zazzle wants us to sell their products so please give us a 'SHARE' button that actually does what it's meant to do. Currently, many of us are spending all our time creating manual social media posts because Zazzle's share button gives such limited results on all platforms.

In my opinion, every share option should produce these results: product page title, clickable images, OUR description (I realize this one might be problematic with some designers not utilizing Zazzle's description field but at least make the description field editable) and tags. Here's a breakdown of what the share button currently results in, for each social media option:

TWITTER:  no image, no description, no hashtags; gives title and product link in the post only

PINTEREST: no description, no title, no hashtags; gives an image; linked through Pinterest's 'visit site' option

FACEBOOK: no image, no description, no hashtags; gives URL and title only; product link through URL

INSTAGRAM: non-existent

As you can see, these results are pretty sad. Hopefully a fix for the sharing button can be pushed to the top of Zazzle's 'To Do' list. As I see it, it should be a priority.

Totally agree... but I think at least some of these limitations might come from the platforms being shared to. I don't know for sure, but I imagine that many platforms limit the ways that they can be interacted with in an automated way - thus forcing the user to actually visit the platform in question (which is what they want) in order to access all of the features.

Sadly I have to second what Cat said. 😐

You might be right @Cat so I'm not holding my breath that this is 100% achievable.  But if I shoot for 100 maybe we'll get 75 ..lol 🙂

I second this one too, smile. 😀

Et tu @MOM ?.. lol. You're dashing all my hopes for going back to designing instead of spending every available hour promoting.

I have to eat a bit of humble pie. But I only going to eat one small piece .. lol. I was able to get X posts to add a clickable image and title two out of five tries today. So it does work, it just works sporadically; kinda like me.

I gave up on sharing because of these many issues.

Now, I will schedule a post (on FB). I can control text and add hashtags. Then I upload an image; either a download of my Z image, or a Z cover image I created. A nice side benefit is that the images I upload will show in my FB 'photos' section.

It's too bad random people can't share and get the same result.

Also fix the way we share collections.  I have a collection group on Facebook and Pinterest and none of the members have been able to share collection links that generate an image.  Even when doing a manual link share it will not generate an image.  @Baylee  Thanks for sharing
