Some people created TRANSPARENT backgrounds for the top banners based on Zazzles top white background.  Now all those banners have a blue background instead of white as default. This makes some of the store banners look very odd and parts of the text fade into the blue.  I recommend switching back to white. It's simpler and fresher. Thanks!!!!

Wouldn't  it be nice if they would think about how weird unnecessary changes like this are going to affect us SKs?

@ameliacarrie
I just checked my banners/logos, one of my stores has a total blue bg, and another  has a vertical white fade to gray bg. They both are transparent png banners.
Makes no sense, unless Z is in the process of changing the bgs. Or its been this way like forever and you are the one who just now posted about the variation.

Here it is, later same day, 7pm and both of the above stores have the blue bg. So it might be something Z is changing?
BTW, not a fan, rather have the white bg.

Tested a banner/logo as jpg w/white bg just now, came up as white to gray vertical gradienzt bg, like I mentioned before. Since I don't know what Z is up to, I switched it back to what it originally was,logo w/transparent png, which is still reading as that weird blue bg, which I agree throws everything off,, color wise.

I would also like to eliminate the shading that zazzle  adds to the bottom of our store banners. It interferes with our banner designs. Any chance that it can be removed or have the option to add or remove it?

Not trying to be snarky here but if people add a solid back to their banner instead of a trans one, wouldn't that solve the problem? Then it won't matter what color Z fills in underneath it, your banner will always look as you intended.

This morning my store banners are back to what they were, white to gray horizontal gradient bg.  No blue bg. It must have been a blip on z radar.

Yes, please remove shading at bottom of store banner! It totally detracts from my original design & ruins the colors!

My JPG banner has a white background, but Zazzle's gray gradient shows up over it. It is not the clean look I want. (When I first tried a banner with a brightly colored background, the gradient was there also.) I don't get it.
