Under Product Visibility Could We have an option to view all products not assigned to a category?

I just read the post about Products not showing up on backend past page 10  in Technical Issues.  I can get to page 83 and I have 417 pages (when I include all the hidden and discontinued products).  I tried years ago to put everything in categories but I am not sure I ever finished.  Now that we cannot go through our stores page by page to make sure we have everything in the appropriate categories, it would be useful to be able to choose an option under "Product Visibility" to view all products not assigned to categories, as well as, products not assigned to collections. I am assuming this is not a technical issue because I noticed this around the time that the marketplace pages were limited but just assumed our store backend pages had been limited as well. But even if it really is a technical issue it would make it much easier to find those products that were never assigned to the appropriate category/collection. If I had to choose between one or another, right now I would choose category.  The reason why I would choose category is because we can edit the products either singularly or in groups and see products' statistics in the categories (including their visibility).  I have been wishing for this ever since I discovered not being able to see all the pages and may have suggested it on the old forums.  I just don't remember.  Also, if this is a technical issue, please relocate to appropriate board.
