Do customers have access to the digital download forever?

I'm wondering since I just sold a Christmas Invitation as a digital download. Can that customer now use that download every year if they want to? Are there any limitations?

TIA

I was also thinking about that. The 'About this product' information makes it sound like there's no time limit.

I am thinking about that to. Can someone answer?

I'm really concerned about this too. They now have a high resolution image of your design simply downloaded to their computer. They can email this design to fifty people, like write one email with one image file and fifty recipients. Normally, they would have to place fifty orders and send fifty physical cards. Am I missing something?

Or sell a bunch of downloads on Etsy. Type digital art and you're going to see lots of Zazzle designs. I put mine so expensive they won't want to download them.

If you don't want customers to buy digital downloads of your products, why don't you just not enable them?

I was hesitant for awhile but then realized I was going to miss sales, if they will only buy downloads. Customers will just go to someone else. I had enough people ask me if I could design the invitation as a download, so I ended up enabling all downloads.

Hard to ever know if they would buy our products as printed, if we didn't offer the download. I guess this is the day and age we are in and what some are looking for. In my opinion, by the time they Buy the Paper and the Cost of the Ink, they are better off buying the printed version from Zazzle.
