Can you please help with affiliate-promoting questions with a blog website? Is anyone still affiliating?
I have read several threads on here that are super helpful, however, most of them are well over a year ago. I am self-hosting a blogging website with WordPress. I want to promote my products and those of other creators here. Can I save photos of other creators' products to promote on a blog post? Or is it sharing the link? or either? Do I need to ask permission from the creator to promote their product? I have visited several blogs that I have seen noted in general discussions on here and, they are promoting only their products. If they are promoting another creator they are promoting them as a whole “featured artist”. As an example: If made a blog post about dino baby shower themes can I promote several creators' items and save the photos or the links and incorporate that in my post? I feel like I am missing something with this?
I have also read quite a few threads on affiliating here. Some have said it is not worth it to go through all the hassle, has anyone still found this to be true? Could I be wasting my time trying to affiliate this way? I know of Pinterest which I have been doing to an extent. I was thinking of a blog to tie it all together and get more traffic.
Any Insight would be super helpful.

@Amanda3117 I'll try to answer a few of your questions although I'm by no means an expert - I'm still trying to figure out the best way for my self.
I'm promoting other sellers products using a WordPress plugin by Mark Highton Ridley. You can see an example of how I do it at https://sanfrancisco.zone/exquisite_ghost_like_spiderweb_diy_peel_and_stick_wallpaper/. Basically I mirror each of my Zazzle listings on my own site on a separate page and below my own product item I feature either one of my own collections or other Zazzler's listings. And I also link to other Zazzle stores throughout my site with ads in rotation and via a link page. On social media I promote my own site's pages instead of my listings in my Zazzle store.
You will find Mark Highton Ridley's plugin at https://niftytoolz.com/.
Good luck to you! 🙂

@MOM Thank you so much for all of your help. I'm very new to WordPress and how to share stuff aside from simply pinning on Pinterest. This is perfect! 🙂
