Google banning cookies soon

Ive not read much into this, just seen the headlines, so others might know more. Will this have any effect on affiliate links?

As long as the tracking cookies are from Zazzle.com and not from a third party, they won't be affected. They are not banning all cookies, just third party cookies with trackers, and only in Chrome, by the end of 2023.

They are only banning 3rd party cookies. They are also working on an alternative for targeting and tracking cookies. And it isn't happening until next year.
