ranking up on Zrank- stuck on 2

Hello everyone,

I recently opened my store Creative Skateboards, and although my Profile is 100% complete, it doesn't  improve. I am adding Products, collections and Media, but the Store is just stuck on 2 in Zrank. I am Also promoting on Pinterest, sharing ect but it seems that, no matter what I do, it just stays there....

Any suggestions are welcome!!!!

ZRank has been crowd sourced a lot in the forums over the years but most of those posts are now inaccessible since moving to a new forum. So I have to go on memory. The two big obvious ones are profile completion (which you did) and sales. Sales are the biggest. But even without sales, it seems like it should be higher than 2. 

One thing I remember that hasn't come up very often but I think it has come up is product diversity. I may be misremembering but I don't think the zRank responds well to stores with just one product. As an experiment you could try adding some different product types and see if that helps. The theme is skateboards but you could add t shirts, shoes and leggings that match the skateboard designs and still be in the theme because those are all things that could be worn while skateboarding. Also those vinyl stickers and then make them in a size that can go on a skateboard helmet.

There are other stores on Zazzle that seem to have only one product type but they don't really. The phone case stores have many different types of phone cases and the invitation stores have foil invites, invites in different orientations and sizes and so on. I suspect that having literally only one product type is the problem. I could be wrong but I think it's worth the time to experiment with adding in a coupe other product types that still fit the theme and see if that helps.

thanks for your Reply! Much Appreciated! so this morning I opened the store page and it was on zrank 4, quite odd as I didn't do much since my post yesterday. I will def look into adding more product lines, great tip!!!

If you are actually complete it shouldn't be stuck at 2... usually the lowest you can have if your store is at least 90% complete (you don't need to have media items, but all other tasks do need to be done) is 4.  Note that it's not your profile that requires completion it's your store. Go to your store tab - look to the right and under your store rank it will say STORE COMPLETION - this is where you need to look. If that is under 90% your rank will not rise to 4. 4 is basic completeness and will allow your products to be seen in the marketplace - it takes sales and views to go beyond that.

She said her store profile is 100% complete. I have a new store like this as well stuck at 2 (I haven't checked it in a while though, too busy with other things right now) but normally it would go up to 4 after getting products posted and doing at least 65% of the store steps. I have a store that has never completed 100% of the store profile and has a 6 or 7 so that's not true.

I think something weird was going on, but I haven't had the time to go in and test or investigate it. The products were showing up in a search for me, so I think they're in the marketplace, but there are so few products in there right now I can't say definitively if the 2 rank is hurting substantially.

No, she said her profile is 100% complete.... your profile and your store(s) are 2 different things...

Thanks for the time you took in replying! well, this morning when logging in, the zrank was magically set on 4, altho I didn't do anything yesterday after my post here.no Idea why!

not even sure if the products are showing in the marketplace now (yesterday they didn't) even if set on public. 

I am also promoting on Pinterest and IG, and even if I am getting views on my products, I still need tzo figure out how to move up to increase my chances for sales 🤑

I'm in a similar boat, it's a tough world out there right now. Hang on in there, you have some great designs. I love your pillow collection. The cats drew me right in and the sleepy mouse is adorable!

I have 4 shops and they are ALL at 3 or below and will not budge. I have one shop that has been at 3 after months of actively trying to improve it! I have completed everything to 100%, routinely share, and have been placing ads to bring visitors. I have had the account for around 8 years. I have made a few sales here and there. I've put 20 hours a week on this for 3 months and nothing. Please - any new suggestions would be so appreciated!

I don't understand z rank, because one store, 75% complete, one design, 20 products has gained a rank of 2. My only store where the z rank has improved. All the others which are 100% complete, hundreds of products, and several different designs are all at -1, ie no improvement whatsoever in the z rank
