Zazzle Idea (a tip from ArtsyFartsy1 via Etsy shopping)

This is just an observation and an idea passed along.  When you just go to Etsy, without even signing up, all kinds of ideas pop up in ad form enticing the shopper.  I, for one, have followed through on that introduction and purchased right away.

Here's my idea:  Each month Zazzle highlight a new store by first obtaining certain products the creator/designer would like grouped together and either Zazzle or the store owner pay to have these purchased and a grouping set up to show how products come together by a physical ad display.  For instance, HIGHLIGHTING A WEDDING PARTY by "___________________" store.  What a way to introduce the viewer/shopper to Zazzle/particular store and perhaps score in sales.  Again, just an idea.❤️

I'm not sure what you are referring to, as I went to Etsy not logged in, and didn't see any pop-ups. The home page is similar to Zazzle's, with a variety of products highlighted for Mother's Day; Editor's Picks, etc.

The problem with this idea is that only the top sellers would be able to afford to pay for that ad space, so it would make it even HARDER for new sellers to compete in the oversaturated marketplace. And those top sellers get featured all the time anyway. I like Zazzle's current method of featuring a display of several products from different sellers on the homepage.

Hi Connie,

I do believe I was confusing shopping on Etsy with that of shopping on Overstock. com which is another of my go to's .  Addressing what you referred to as only the top sellers would be able to afford this ad space ... perhaps it could be a collaborative effort with Zazzle to minimize our spending.  This would not only benefit us but, in turn this would benefit Zazzle.  Perhaps we could get a good deal on a month long ad.  Furthermore, it could be wishful thinking on my part.

*Connie, I do appreciate your feedback.

Zazzle already features designers in the Trending sidebar although it is collections that they show.
