Best Keyword Research Tool, Free Is Always A Bonus!

To all the artists who made it, as you all know Zazzle is different and maybe way harder than other platforms out there (how it operates, the website search engine algorithm, tagging and keywords, finding its links in Google searches, and even finding tools and systems that work with it as we see with Amazon, redbubble, etsy....). Would you happen to know of a keyword research tool or tagger that can be used effectively with Zazzle?

I've been using ChatGPT.  You make requests such as "what are 10 keywords I can use to describe a cusbist design?" or "what are 10 tags I can use to tag a design aimed at lawyers?" It is unable to find what is trending now but it is good at coming up with synonyms and relevant words you might not have though of.

That's cool but as keywords and tags quality, difficulty, and volume..how do you manage that part?

I do a mix of multi word and single word tags. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by difficulty. Word length? Word obscurity? I try not to be too obscure unless I'm making a very niche product and then I use a word that probably only people in that niche would search for.

Would you go as obscure as the Zazzle search would say "Your search for "...." did not match any products"? What I mean by difficulty is the level of competition in this specific word tagging, and also its popularity like if it's used frequently and more often by people as a search term.

Now I understand what you meant by difficulty. 🙂  I don't factor the level of competition into how I tag products. I use "dog" when it's relevant even though there 2.5 million other products tagged "dog". And I use "gram stain" when relevant (microbiology niche) even though it's so obscure on Zazzle that only 54 products have that tag and most (but not all) of them are mine.

In short, I tag by relevance to the design.

I used to use Google Trends. I used it to compare the search volume for keywords. For example, if I made a design about health, I would use Goggle Trends and compare keywords: fitness, exercise, workout etc. and use the most searched words in the tittle, tags and description. But I'm too lazy now, so I don't use it anymore 😄

Isn't using the most searched words and tags is considered a problem that makes it harder because of the high competition? And regarding you being lazy now..who can blame you: you're a Pro Zazzler now, working your ass off days are over and behind your back. 😜

Well, my father has a successful Etsy and Shopify store, and it's just one of the tips I learned from him. He told me to learn as much as I can about POD and he'll let me take over his stores. He said I'm doing much better than most people starting out when I told him I'm reaching close to 1 million Pinterest monthly impressions, and I'm technically a Pro Bronze, just waiting for the sales to cleared, I think.

The Pinterest account connected to my shop is just for my lazy quick pins that has like 600 monthly impressions. It's my first Pinterest account, and it failed 😄

I'm betting 100 bucks that after caching out your first big check, your mood will shift to working your ass off again and more than when you started. And who does that anyway?!!! I'm just experimenting so I have multiple Pinterest accounts. The quick pin one failed. The manual pin one has high impressions, but low out-bound clicks, and when I stopped making pins, the impressions start to drop. The one with pins linked to my WordPress blog site; even though I haven't made a pin in months, the impressions aren't dropping.
