For Wax seals - not OSS but showing discontinued due to "working on the tool that gives permission" temporary behavior

and for embossers showing discontinued "due to a bug"

So reading between the lines - it's a glitch - they've not been discontinued as far as I can tell (but who knows)

I stopped trying to keep my lists updated back in June when too many items were going back & forth from showing as "discontinued product line" or "discontinued product option" or "sold out" depending on where one looked and no confirmation from Mods when people asked about things. It's only gotten worse since then with the new paper changes and the wax seals & stamps and products like tissue paper showing as discontinued just because of a behind-the-scenes error due to a change in product specs, etc. Zazzle really does need a master list of the current status of items to show what is actually what since we cant rely on the mixed messages we get from the backend & product pages. 

I made an effort tonight to update at least the things that were already on my list. Some long-term "sold-out" items presumed discontinued now actually say 'Discontinued" instead of just sold-out but I am hesitant to move them to my confirmed-as-discontinued list without, well, actual confirmation from Z that they really are discontinued as a product line. I'll probably move them anyways but not tonight. 

Since my last update in June:

Small bathmats are back but now Large is "temporarily sold-out". 

Reusable Grocery bags are back in stock. 

11" x 8" Guest Books are "Discontinued"

Linen shades are now "Sold Out" along with the rice-paper shades for all lamp styles. 

Womens Bella+Canvas Jersey V-neck style T-shirt has changed from showing as "sold out" to showing as "Discontinued"

All sizes Teddy Bears are back in stock. 

All colors of tissue paper except white have been "Discontinued". 
Sizes have also changed, search the forums for more details on that.

Hand Towels are back in stock so therefore bathroom towel sets are also available again. 

Ugo luggage - all options have changed from "temp sold out" to "Discontinued"

Erasers - a long-time "temp sold out" item is now finally showing as "Discontinued"

The main point being  "too many items were going back & forth from showing as "discontinued product line" or "discontinued product option" or "sold out" depending on where one looked and no confirmation from Mods when people asked about things." We as 'creators' should be doing more promoting per Zazzle's directive than this second guessing of status that should be clarified by Zazzle's power that be.

I appreciate everyone's efforts here to try to keep us updated. But truly — who has the time to page thru pages and pages to research the status of a product? And have we ever solved the issue of 'discontinued' being used interchangably with 'sold out' in the back end? It makes a difference to a store manager! 

Completely discontinued means you'd delete the product — maybe transfer to another design. But I'm not going to delete something that says 'discontinued' ...if it might only mean it's out of stock. 😔
