Hello, for those of you that more than one niche category, did you create separate stores for each type of niche product? I have about 9 different niche categories in my store and was thinking of creating a separate store for each one, if Zazzle allows it. I'm hoping it will help increase sales. Thanks for any advice!

The search on Zazzle's home page leads, not to stores, but to individual products. Sure, you can see the store name in the little thumbnail, but do customers pay attention to the store? This is pure opinion, but I'm thinking having niche stores is good when the designer is promoting outside of Zazzle.

It might be worth trying one new store if you have plans to market that store in particular and promote that one store heavily on any active socials you may have. You could open a practice store today and see if you can move one of your products into the new store. To this point in time, I do not believe this has ever been possible.

Nope, it still isn't possible to move a product from one store to another. All we can do is edit the product, then post it for sale in the new store, but we have to delete it from the original store. I've always been curious about this, though I suspect it has something to do with our overall account being real, while separate categories and stores are, in a sense, only an illusion.

I have 7 stores, thing is it requires lots of time to work on each on and not leave the rest hanging, also remember your stores should have lots of products to rank up, so i recommend finishing one store at a time making sure it has enough products, is organized, etc
so for example
I turned my first store into a gift related store:

I have 4 active stores (a few "test" stores too).
My main store is an everything store that I work on most of the time.
I also have
GenFam - that relates to items that people might use when researching family history, or when celebrating a family/school reunion
TheColoringCave - my effort to provide items that people can color once they get them home
FelineFriends - where I indulge my love of cats. Here I have a sub-niche for polydactyl cats that is doing quite well
Lastly my ArtistsRepurposeStore -where I include products created with artworks done by other people who don't wish to maintain their own stores.
This is not as many stores as others might have, but I find it fairly easy to balance between them. Keeping the store's contents separate helps with my work flow and keeps me focused on a specific topic for a specific store. I try to keep active on all, but it has been a while since my production has been addressed - have to get on it in the new year.

Niche stores are more attractive to affiliates who want to engage in narrower targets. A "something for everyone" store isn't really true, and it's less risk to devote advertising dollars on specific targets. Trickier for an actual artist like yourself, though, because you may sacrifice your cohesive artist's identity by splitting up your artwork. I'm glad I don't have to make that kind of decision for myself!
