I just found this great little tool after wondering what exactly the shade of 'purple' I was using was called.
https://www.ginifab.com/feeds/pms/color_name_in_image.php
To use you simply upload your image (I save the product image via the share option)
Then you touch the color of the product for the 'name' of the color to show. It offers a range showing the % of the color match.

Thank you. The names of the colors are interesting and a bit poetic. They could sometimes be useful as keywords.

yes some words I beleive are 'made up' but many are related to more common phrases for shades such as 'cinnamon' etc. So it's a case of selecting words that a customer might use as well as perhaps having a nice word as you say in the title as perhaps a 'collection' name.

I also use https://encycolorpedia.com/ (there are several others that are similar - just do search online for HEX color codes). They are very useful and give other colors that go along with the one you're using. toning colors, and other paint colors by name that are similar. I use them for everything now. When you need to "add background" in Zazzle, go to the + sign and it will give you a box wherein you can input this 6-digit code - letters with some numbers.
