Editing front page of store?

So I am really new to this and was wondering if there was a way to get rid of the "New Products" section on the front page of our stores? I am really just trying to organize and make the store look neat. That or move Categories to the top, keep collections in the middle and the new products to the bottom. I think it would look more eye appealing. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi. Yes you can change what is shown, and the order they show up, by choosing the 'Settings' tab on your home page and then selecting 'Advanced Settings'. Right at the top is the 'customize store' section. Click the 'Add' button beside any option you want visible and click the 'X' beside any in the visible column that you don't want to show. The order they end up listed under 'visible' will be the same order that they appear on your store front. Make sure to click on the 'Submit' button at the bottom of that page to confirm your selections. Have fun!

New products may not be seen as soon as you move them into categories.
