Hi,
This is a weird question, however I do need guidance by a Zazzle employee or someone who knows law as to how to go about leaving my Zazzle Store to my son when that day comes.
I am not departing soon, however I do need to have a plan in place.
It can't be just changing my email or method of payment as he would have to pay taxes on the income.
I want to update my will so need to be know that I am doing.
Thanks in advance.
Anna

LeahG started a thread on this. Having been through this kind of thing way too many times now, I will say that jurisdiction matters. Country, state--- those entities have entirely different laws and the taxing authority may also have a further set of rules.
Whatever you learn about how Zazzle handles it, you will also want to discuss with the attorney who has drawn up, or will draw up your trust documents, or your will. Where I live, the cleanest and best way to manage things is to have a trust which will own everything when the time comes, and a trustee named who can immediately step in and start managing things.
I also do Postcrossing!

Everyone PLEASE BOOKMARK this info:
This info should help:
<https://www.zazzle.com/mk/policy/user_agreement>
It states Zazzle needs a Death Certificate and Power of Attorney.
n the Zazzle User Agreement, paragraph 13 explains how the death of a designer is handled in terms of their stores, payments, etc.
also see:
How to build a digital estate plan

in another post KC asked: 05-10-2022 10:03 AM
Scott, would an estate manager or the person who was "willed" the Zazzle store just contact customer service in this event, or as store owners, do we need to contact customer service ahead of time to set it up with Zazzle?

If the store owner is able to contact us then that's probably the best route forward.

How to contact Customer Support:
1. Scroll down to bottom of the page (either in community or on zazzle.com) and click on the "Help" link in the footer.
2. When Help page loads (help.zazzle.com) scroll down and click on "How do I contact Zazzle Customer Support?" link. That should provide you with a few ways to contact our Customer Support team.
