Add to Collection Not Working on Product Listing Page

I'm having an ongoing problem when trying to add a product to a collection while I'm posting the product for sale. I get a message that the collection is not in this store, but it DEFINITELY IS! It doesn't happen with all products, just randomly.

Ha! Well, I had a heckuva time trying to figure out how to describe the problem, so I probably didn't craft the best title for my post - not sure if anyone ever read it. Maybe this one will get some traction.
