BACKEND UPLOADED COVER THUMBNAILS NOT UPDATING?

I, too, am experiencing the upload cover and removed cover image issue Remove cover pops up the purple circle thing as though it's working but nope, nothing happens.

BUT I'M ALSO SEEING SOMETHING ELSE on my end.

Something else odd happening for me on my back end beyond this. At least some of the thumbnails in my back end are not updating. I KNEW I'd updated one but the Z default image still showed there. BUT when I click on that thumbnail, the product page does show the uploaded cover.... **********To say the least, this makes it extremely difficult to know what you've uploaded cover images for and what you haven't.*************

At this point I have uploads in my img folder I THOUGHT I'd used but when I go to the product it give the msg about uploading a cover folder....Overall I'm so confused and disheartened I don't know what the heck I'm doing at this point.

A comment about the 'product image not available' issue. WE know that a potential customer can click on the small thumbnail to the side to pull the product up - but will customers do it or bother to? I think of how I react to what could be perceived as a "broken link" when I go a website - I usually leave the site.

Right now I'm wishing we had a "reset" button for all display images so I could start over with this cover image stuff.

I hope that with some of these tech issues Z delays implementing priority to those with uploaded covers.

Yes, you are right, covers are not working the way they should.

I absolutely agree wilth you, hope the mods read your comment and "pass it on".
Disheartened sums it up, affecting all the shops, pushing products that are not covers down in the search, while the image not available products still are given priority. Uh huh, right.....

Further, I believe as a customer I would not want to click on the link  that states that the image is not available. I would be wary, and probably after seeing more than one of them, would leave.

If you could avoid using all caps in the future we would appreciate it.
