Categories taking days to update.

I added some products 6 days ago - added to collections and categories.

items are showing up in zazzle search and showing up in collections when viewing public storefront.  But still not showing in the categories (in store front or store management).  Usually they show up in 1-2 days, but it’s 6 days now!

 have made sure all are set to the relevant store categories (they are showing as ticked for the category if I select set store category) in the store management.  But only viewable within the collection, not the category when viewing the store.  Any idea how to fix this as shouldn’t take this long.

 i too have noticed items that I moved from one store category to another, (ex. New Products moved to another store category like Greeting Cards) in my store front or store management  have not moved for over a week now and you are right it doesn't normally take more then a day or two! Not sure what the problem is but hopefully this will get fixed soon.

I have emailed Zazzle and they aren't quite understanding the issue as the response I received back merely said products have to be reviewed before being offered to sale to the public.  I've replied back to say the products are available on zazzle, are showing up in search, are showing up in collections - they just aren't showing in store categories- so the issue is that our store categories aren't updating.   I've also told them that it isn't just me it's happening to.  As you say hopefully it will get fixed soon.

Some products still not showing in public store in nearly a year.

I am having the same problem. Items published days ago and not showing up in my store categories.

I've had this issue for a long time, I actually gave up moving items from my new products section I just tried again 2 days ago and still nothing has moved. 

It’s not just moving categories that is the problem.  New products aren’t appearing in any category at all.

Oh I see, mine are showing up in new products I just can't get them to move to another category. 

I set category when I create a product, so only “dump” a few in the new products category if I don’t already have an existing category for them, then might move them into a new category later.  But I did put one in the wrong category previously and attempted to move that several days ago but it still hasn’t moved.  Categories just don’t seem to be updating with new or moved products at all for the past week or so.

Because categories aren’t updating new products aren’t showing under any category, but if they are in a collection they are available there - just not in the category.

Yep, it's frustrating and makes organizing and product management very difficult.

Shifted some drink sachets between categories week and a half ago. Still no change.

Same here.

Two weeks now that I moved products to other categories, nothing has happened until today. The products are still stuck in the old categories.

I'm having this same problem with new products and with moving existing products to a different category. It's been a few weeks, at least.

Zazzle, please give us an update on when we can expect to have this fixed!

This has been going on for far too long.  The last date I see products showing up in categories was 6/7.  And there have been other long category assignment lags before that among all of the other indexing problems.  Why has this been continually happening, and is the “team” actually trying to fix it?  Patting us on the head with the ever-patronizing “thank you for your patience” message has gotten very old indeed.

Any idea when this will be fixed? I posted here on 6-15-24 and today is July 2nd and the problem still exists! I know you stated an update would be made as soon as possible but 6-15-24 seems like a while to wait. Hope we hear some good news from you soon. Thanks and Happy 4th of July too!

Hi, all, i have re-set the categories various times and many of my subcategories get "no Products Found". But all my products appear on just Products. That is the point of having categories and subcategories, so i'm wondering what the fix is. Many weeks have gone by, so it's not like i didn't wait long enough for Zazzle to do something on the back end. Please help!

I had a reply from Zazzle support today as follows:

 
"It turns out that there is a known issue with Categories not updating at this time. 
 We don’t have an ETA as to when they will be updated, it might take a while for the site to update.
I apologize for any inconvenience caused and if you have any further questions or queries then please don’t hesitate to get in touch."

Hi, 

Would anyone know the reason for products not showing up in categories? I just realized that many cellphone case designs and car mat designs are not in the category (I haven't gone through all my categories yet)  some of these were done weeks ago, my store isn't private nor are the products hidden but all public.

Any help is appreciated.

Yes, I have just noticed that lots of my new products from the last few weeks are not showing up in my sub-categories too.  I have checked from the 'All Products/Latest first' view, and they are all assigned to the correct category, but not showing when I click down into my categories.  

I have just checked back across all products created during June.  I can see products created on the 1st.  I then didn't create again until the 9th.  Nothing from 9th June onwards is showing in categories for me. 

Tech - please could you confirm if there a problem/backlog?

Thanks for the info, the message I received back was like ??!! lol , glad your answer from them makes sense, I just hope they figure it out soon !

There wouldn't be any type of blacklisting on Rate R products, even if they are vintage paintings and pre-1930s pinups.

I am having the same issue and contacted Zazzle. They replied to my query with this answer:

"Our technical team has been advised of the error with products not being indexed accordingly in your store categories, and they are currently working on a solution."

So they are working on it. 🙂

The latest reply I had asked for a list of categories and products that weren’t showing up, so I started to put a list together and sent them the first batch - still got more to add to the list as it goes back to products created from 8 June!  Hopefully though as they are aware they sort a fix before I get time to list the rest.

I might have fixed my issue by doing some things.  

Changing Content Filter Setting: to OFF, "It was already Off but some reason needed to update it again.
Changed Notification Preferences: On affected store to Immediately
Deleting and remaking bad products.
Changed some affected products from PG to G. 

I was wrong, I only was able to get a few product lines working.

I created new categories 2 weeks ago, the products are showing up in search, but they are not in the store. I cant see them under public or back end.  Is this going to change, how long before they are picked up  ?

I am just seeing all these comments now. I was extremely frustrated the other day so I feel a little better now. My categories look a hot mess right now. I was trying to revamp them and include new cover photos and tried to transfer products to my new categories and it was was an epic fail.
