Collection items (live on Zazzle) not in "recommended" order

I'm using "recommended" sort for most of my cross-sell collections. The sort is all nice and orderly in the back end, but what I see on the customer facing view (live on Zazzle) is just a big jumbled mess 🤣. As far as I can tell, the recommended sort thing only applies to the collection pod shown beneath the product on the product page. Don't know if they just haven't gotten around to implementing it on the collections page itself, or if they're using the pods as a testing ground to see how it impacts sales or what. You can order them by hand by choosing the "manage custom - ungrouped sort" thing from the collection backend.

I haven't done that on most of mine because well.... a) I'm whelmed with other things and b) I'm not sure how many people visit the actual collection at this point since there's no link to it on the product page anymore.

Thanks Cat. It might be true that people see the collection less, but I still send people direct links to the collection through email, social media, etc, and if they go to my "collections" tab that's the sort they see.

I was under the impression that the new collections would automatically sort the items into a recommended order. In the back end under collection channels > your stores I have the sort order as 'recommended'. I'm not sure what else that would mean except that the customer facing collection would be in the recommend sort order.

I'd love to hear from Zazzle if the current 'jumbled sort' is a glitch / if they're planning to fix that.

I agree - I wish they'd extend the recommended sort thing to the collections page as well. It just takes so much time to rearrange everything by hand every time you add something new, especially with huge wedding collections.
