Cover photo showing up by itself

The cover photo I upload is showing by itself, instead of being in the background of the product. I waited 24 hours and it’s still not right. Here’s a screenshot.

I'm new to cover photos, so I'm not sure I'm the right person to answer this ... but I don't think you can just add a background, I believe you need to create the image file with the product in it and upload that as the cover photo.

This is my first cover photo that I made. The image is the shirt with the background and then uploaded.

You do have to combine both the product and the background image in an external image editing software then upload it @k8hayes

OK, I can do that, but I’ve done several cover photos already, and that wasn’t the case. All I did was upload the photo and it appeared in the background automatically. @SuzyLeeLo, isn’t that right? Am I going crazy?

There is not auto function where the background image that you upload combines with the product. You have to do that merge manually. You probably chose an insitu that zazzle already has available (ie cushions)

I’m not sure what you saw… no, that doesn’t happen. Cover phots are static. What you upload is exactly what shows. The product is definitely not aded automatically.

Perhaps you remember playing with a different design interface? As I know, Zazzle Designer doesn't have the ability to merge our images with an existing Zazzle product mockup. 

Perhaps you are remembering a Canva tutorial video I did for you during our creator challenge event?
