Double sales Notifications

Hi! Is this a technical issue? Why am I receiving double sale messages when there's only one sale in my listing? Notifications take hours to arrive to avoid receiving notifications of canceled sales, or at least that's what I've always understood. So, is this a system error? Well, it's not the first time this has happened, but I've always thought it was a mistake. Anyone else experiencing this?

I forgot to mention that it is not a reference, I haven't had references since 2022.

I also get double notifications. I'm assuming it's a glitch, but it would be nice to have that confirmed by a Zazzle mod.

eta- I just realized you mean the notification bell. The other information is for emails with double sales in them. Do you notice any of the things I mentioned? Like, is your royalty rate reduced?

 

When you get double sales notifications like that you will find that there has been "secondary" content added like a background.  The second sale will usually show up in you email for like a penny royalty, but you won't get that extra penny.  I guess it's some kind of placeholder number.  You will also find that your royalty percentage in your royalty history has been reduced from whatever your normal royalty rate is and that is further confirmation that it is secondary content that has been added.

@Malissa Sorry, sorry, mistakenly pressed final accepted solution button.

No, there is no variation in my royalties. 

The client bought invitations with envelopes, 10+5%. If the new thing is receiving separate notification about the envelopes, it would be something new to me. Also a more expensive paper.

Well, maybe someone who knows will see this thread.  I don't remember having seen doubles pop up in my notifications before.  Sorry I was no help!

I have gotten the double bell notifications before, and it was because of the usage of secondary content (as @Malissa has pointed out).

But my royalties were not affected, there was no change in the percentage, it is also not a third-party sale, it doesn't seem like added content. It is an order for invitation cards, with envelopes and on luxurious paper

Hmm. The only thing left that I can think of is User Options (in regards to the luxurious paper), but that pays a fixed percentage of 5%. I've never gotten a double notification for User Options. You've got me puzzled!
