Encountered a glitch when changing an image with an .SVG file

Earlier I was editing a design and decided to replace a .PDF of an image with an .SVG version of that same design. I did this hoping to keep the same size that the previous image had. However, when I did that, the color replacing tool didn't work correctly.

How it behaves when changing a previous image (.PDF -> .SVG) :

How it behaves when the same .SVG is uploaded into the workspace normally. (New Layer) :

I posted the test design privately to see if that would correct the first set of pictures, but the issue was still there.

I haven't seen anyone post about this glitch in the forum and wanted to post this in case it was an unknown issue.

I've always had problems when trying to replace a different file with an SVG. I just assumed it was a limitation of the design tool, so I didn't bother posting here.

Yeah, SVG is the only file type that I've noticed issues with replacing. But the way it behaved made me wonder if there was a coding error in the back-end since the recolor function is relatively new.
