Facebook Posts not Working

When I try to post from item to facebook no images or information is showing up to share. I can share from a separate app but not the button on the Zazzle page. Do not ask for link to item not working. None of them are working in any of my shops.  

Yesterday it started so I cleared cache. Today after updating browsers and Windows it is still happening.

I tried to share a collection and product on Facebook. It just showed up as www.zazzle.com without images or a direct link. I clicked on 'boost post' out if curiosity and it said the Ad wouldn't be posted as they don't allow ads which lead to Non Functional Pages. It appears the fault may lie with Zazzle not Facebook, if the link worked the post could be boosted. Ditto for me. The only thing that worked was to upload an image for the product (thankfully I keep a backup of all my cover images), manually add the link in the text box from copying and pasting the share link on the product page, and then it finally worked. IMO, Facebook has really gone downhill since 'Meta' came in, and everything has been integrated with Instagram. It's been a nightmare trying to log into separate accounts (I admit I probably have too many!) and getting posts to post to the correct FB page, keeping them separate from each other, utterly impossible now. It's even trying to post products to my personal FB page now, and that's despite keeping my business and personal pages separate on different browsers for years, even that's not working anymore.

 I have had the posts posting to my personal page. and like you I try to keep them separate. The only thing I do see is that you can send posts on your personal page to the trash but does that ruin anything you share to a group page?  My move has been to copy and paste everything and post it to my public feed and then open my personal page and send the original post to the trash. Will the shared post still show up on the group page I shared it to?  I hate meta, probably because I do not use Instagram. Is there anyway to get in touch with FB and tell them they need to employ the ability to post to groups again?  Shouldn't Z tech be doing this?  They and other sites probably are. The big problem with every site sharing is the drop down on FB only allows you to share to public feed or lists you had made. I have lists I didn't even know were still there like for Squidoo ( If your not familiar it was an ancient site that I loved working on ) that and Polyvore  which was not as old but shorter lived. I was able to make the most awesome images with my products with that site. They provided easy access to all the extras you needed to make you images super professional looking while adding a huge amount of your own creative juices. Oh well ....... ;(

I found that you can copy the image and paste it to the FB post. That way you don't have to save anything.  ~ You have to copy the title and add it, ~ copy the link and paste it then ~ copy the image and paste it. When you get to FB it is a whole new problem trying to place it to a group or page. I thought this would be fixed by now. I did notice some of my invitations work when posting to FB. The drop down on where to post does not work anymore,  Seems like they are putting most efforts on invites.

I did read they are working on it but that is not helping my sales. My ISP was down for awhile so I missed that time but not being able to post to my main social network is really doing damage to my sales. Plus taxes will have to be paid and I was counting on a payment from my sales to help, Looks like I am screwed this year. I hate tax day as it is but this is giving me the sweats.. Please help, perhaps Z can help with some funds for tax time. I am not sure what happens when you don't pay,

It is if you use an associate ID at the end. A straight link will show the image on Facebook.

It has the same principle as when Zazzle changed the HTML image to show up only in your store management. Though it took me a long time to realize that it was there. If you are sharing other creators' products, you cannot grab the HTML code with the image like you used to. I am pretty sure that none of this is a glitch but is done on purpose.

SanyMDesigns: I am using the associate ID at the end and it doesn't work. if I am trying to share my own product.  However, If I am sharing other people's products, it does work.  So for me it's the exact reverse from what you're reporting.

somebody has to fix this, a lot of referrals are relying on this feature to attract customers to zazzle. sales are slow for everybody if this is not fixed I think. all your sales are slow on march because the referral marketers where not able to pull customers thru zazzle.

What do zazzle web devs are doing these days? 🤔 is this facebook problems? or zazzle website?
