Flip (mirror) tool and preview not matching up

I'm using the flip tool on a set of corner images on a binder and they change themselves back to their original orientation if I copy/paste (or if I insert new ones and flip) and whatever's happening, it doesn't match up with the preview image, so it's impossible to tell what's going on.

I just tried it with the front cover using the a small image on the left top corner. copied and pasted it, moved it to the top right corner, and flipped it. No matter where else I went or did, the two corner images remained as I set them up. Or are you doing something different from this?

Yes, that sure does look like the same problem, so it's not just the binder. And mine were also svgs that got messed up, but I had other svgs in there that didn't get messed up. I just did a pocket folder, didn't have those issues, but they were all pngs, don't know if that had anything to do with it. Of course, this would happen on the weekend, so I don't expect Z will chime in for another... while.

It sounds as if it has something to do with SVG images. I ran my test using a PNG without a problem. I'll give it a try with an SVG image... Yup, it goes wacko. Not just with flipping, but also rotating. Not at all good.

Issue: design elements showing up reversed or flipped in the main display area of the design tool (iPad, Safari)

An element (svg file) is placed, then flipped, then other changes are made to the design, like copy & pasting the element, then the first element alters its display.

It’s happened with several of my products. It makes it hard to lay them out in the design tool.

This flipped display stays after the product is published. So, it’s also what the customer sees inside the design tool?

I tried other file types, and it appears to be focused completely on SVG's.

Helloooooooo, anyone out there? This not resolved yet??? My computer's been in the shop since the 25th and I just got a cheap Chromebook as a backup, and this is still not fixed? Tried to do a binder just now. Same thing happening.

It's been working again for me for about a week, I've just tried my test product again in edge and Firefox, it's seems to be working OK now in both.
