Issue with cropping tool?

I've been cropping a few things today and the tool is acting very weird. I'll crop something like an example, a rectangle frame. Then, I copy the cropped frame, and reverse (mirror) the new image. It stays the same as the original cropped image. So, I use rotate to get the same effect, and that works, OR I have to go back into crop and move the crop area to the opposite end of the image so it will give me the mirrored image I want. Then, if I decide to resize the cropped image, it crops more of the image instead of scales in size, so I try the "+ -" sizing tool and that seems to work. So, I finally get to a point where I think I'm done, then go into Preview and the 2nd cropped image has reversed itself and is now upside down. ARGH!! Gave up for today.

It may have something to do with the new "lock aspect ratio", located in the design area, under the settings. I had problems with cropping my images this morning.

This may or may not fix the issue. This is what I posted, "In the design area, under the settings, there is a "lock aspect ratio" under the "hide zoom tool" that you can check, so you can resize, without it cropping. I'm not sure if you have to set it, every time you work on a new design. I think if you check it once, it will stay that way in the design area."

I just started having this issue as well. I actually had to go back and fix a couple of new designs, because I didn't realize that the tool was also cropping the edges of my images, instead of just resizing them.

Clicking "lock aspect ratio" did fix the problem for me. I honestly had no idea that was even an option! It seems something changed this week that just defaulted to cropping everything; you now have to go in and lock the aspect ratio manually rather than it just being the default.

Oh lordy, I hope the customers don't have to try to figure this out as well.

I don't know if you and I have same problem. I normally upload file like this.1.JPG

So I copy the file and want reverse image i use flip tools and reverse it. but it is view like this and in the review it is ok.2.JPG

3.JPG

So I change crop area to the left side. It become like this. So It is ok in the designing view and Not ok in the preview like this.5.JPG

I also try (lock aspect ratio) other people discuss but it is not fix the problem and the worse part is , it affect all old design that i did the same way and it's getting sale. I don't even know how to label the cropping tools problem or flip tools problem. But I still don't get negative review so far. (sorry about if my English is wrong)
