Last viewed date not updating

Seems to have stopped updating sometime yesterday (likely afternoon). Last viewed sort shows a couple products at one day but everything else is 2 days or more

same here, zrank dropped 1 point

Not happy

Yeah, the worst time of year for a zRank drop...along with website issues, drop in sales...not happy here either.

I have Holiday Depression now after 40 years of therapy, thanks to a 1 point drop. It does make a difference as to what other designs your merchandise are displayed with.

My zrank has dropped also and no view updates for 7 days!

Thanks for admitting your Z rank dropped.

Last sold & last viewed both stopped updating 5-6 days ago.

Is everyone on holidays early at Zazzle.  Pretty distressing almost one week, rankings dropping, no views showing, wth not a very merry camper here

Agreed.  It's also very distressing that tissue paper and gift bags are out, especially tissue paper.  Talk about affecting sales!  Just a horrible situation during this crucial selling time.

Z rank has dropped for me too,... 😞 Now that the holiday sales are in full swing, I feel invisible,... 😞

This has been going on for 5 days now. Will it be fixed before the weekend?
Maybe this also affects the visibility (selling? - not selling?),... ? I hope I'm wrong.
It would be nice if they would solve the problem as soon as possible. Thanks.

My sales seemed to have slowed down since this started over 5 days ago.  I advertise my products and don't see that being reflected in how my items rank anymore.  Items that ranked on the first page of a search are slowly losing traction and I don't know if that's because Zazzle is thinking none of my products have gotten any new views in the last 5 days...

Yes it does affect visibility. Loss of Z rank 1 point puts you on display with different designers, you may notice.

Views are not updating for either. Over a week now. Just mentioning for the record.

When I first saw this thread my views seemed to be updating okay but now they aren't.  I check 'last viewed' probably once a day to see what it getting potential customers attn and such... My most recent shows FIVE DAYS now, but I suspect that is incorrect. It's almost as though I "lost" some of the views I may have had?  Usually I have at least a few views showing as within 24 hours or a day.... I just noticed this yesterday (11-30)

Ditto with me views not updating. I am making sales but not on any of my newer products. Don't know if its cuz its not updating or I'm just not selling.

I have same problem for the past few days.

Just adding for the record. My last "last viewed" date was Nov 25th. I made a sale the other night and found out via notifications and it was counted in earnings as well. But it hasn't updated in the store stats menu.

So it seems like products are still viewable to customers at least.

Although our products are still showing up, the lack of views is causing them to lose traction when you search for them, compared to other sellers that aren't having this issue.  I advertise my products and don't see that being reflected in how my items rank anymore.  Items that ranked on the first page of a search are slowly losing traction and I'm starting to question if it's because Zazzle is thinking none of my products have gotten any new views in the last 5 days...

I have a feeling the problem of views/sales not updating is across the board, affecting everyone, & it's an indexing problem. I have not seen any drop in sales for the past 5 days. My last views updated were on 11/26.

That's a good question to ask the tech team.  Is this an issue that is affecting every store on Zazzle or is it isolated to a few stores.  If it's a site wide issue, I'm surprised more creators haven't said anything.  Having said that, my store is fairly new and I'm still learning.  I did see that the Z-Rank issue that was affecting some stores was fixed today so I'm hopeful that regardless of the extent, this will get fixed as soon as possible.

Slow indexing has been an ongoing issue for a long time. I don't join a topic if several others already have already mentioned it - unless I am feeling particularly upset.

Same here- I read the forum. But now I am particularly upset.

Yes I do too- I worked 6 years for my Z rank so why cut it in an economic crisis? I have no unseen products clogging the space and spent 4 months designing for this season. I feel as if to avoid overload, I have been removed from the search engine for the season. I don't think it is a sitewide problem- haven't seen the Gold and Silver Pros in this forum. After all the new upgrades, Zazzle has to save itself. A six day cut-off deserves the courtesy of an Announcement from Zazzle. I need time to arrange for food stamps in January, and county assistance with my electric bill.

That is why Z rank, The Big Mystery, matters. I don't design for alcoholic beverage products, even though my prints look great on flasks.  In this season, Booze products will get the most attention. "Merry and Bright" to you all the same...

Hi Again

Its Christmas, time for sales and Zazzle is letting us all down.  A communication to our main Zazzle page would be considerate, instead of looking up these threads that reitterate what the problem is, repeat it and still have it unsolved.  Its been almost a week, and its very stressful everytime we do something, nothing is updated.  I would like a statement to ALL USERS where you tell us there are new products etc. just what you are (or are not) able to do to fix this and when you expect it will (or will it?) be fixed.  Very stressed anyone else no any answers or are we all in the same boat.

Someone has already pointed out if it were affecting everyone, this forum would reflect more activity. We are not all in the same boat. Some of the faithful are just being laid off for the holidays to make room for the heavy hitters.

not sure what you mean when you say "some of the faithful are just being laid off for the holidays to make room for the heavy  hitters.

So things are kyboshed because of layoffs.  Not sure about your comments, we aren't all in the same boat...if you are a business and only respond to issues if we are ALL IN THE SAME BOAT that is crazy.  So I assume from your point because we aren't all in the same boat its okay some can be affected.  I surely hope you aren't the name and face of communications because you suck.

I'm not sure what you mean by, "I surely hope you aren't the name and face of communications because you suck. " I am a designer and have been working on Zazzle for 6 years. Prior, I was a garden and landscape designer for 40 years This is my semi-retirement income. We are ALL  not in the same boat because there is a rank and caste system here that Zazzle has created. I am a Bronze Level designer- I have a website to promote Zazzle, Pinterest, and FB representation.  I have more than 4,000 products, mostly home decor.  Lowering Z rank when a "faithful"  Zazzler has put in a long a season of obvious hard work and investment, pushes their products lower and lower in the search engine. It kills morale. It forces your products into the mass of lower performance products, even if your works are masterpieces. So, you do not come up on the search engine. The "Heavy Hitters" are Gold and Silver level with the highest Z rank. Thus, this is not a democracy, or a marketplace based on aesthetic worthiness, but on what sells. Sorry I suck, but I am not a maker of what sells, I am an artist, a marine biologist, a designer, a botanist. I truly believe during the big holidays and occasions the Algorithm for search engine visibility favors the Highest Sellers, if you will, and many of us have products which are some of our best work and they never get seen.

Or, if that is not clear, I am not in the same boat with a Gold Pro.

Merry and Bright! and Good Luck!

Just so I'm clear this is what you said: The "Heavy Hitters" are Gold and Silver level with the highest Z rank. Thus, this is not a democracy, or a marketplace based on aesthetic worthiness, but on what sells.

Newsflash: businesses in an economy in a democracy are not designed to be fair, nice friendly, understanding, or designed to promote products that don't sell out of the charitable goodness of their heart. It's a business and it can not realistically promote every single product / artist on the site at all times. It's just not possible so they have to be selective with that they promote and where they promote it.... and lets not forget the designers work hard promoting also in order to remain a thriving profitable business.  I started hear 13 years ago from scratch. It took me over a year just to start seeing some money coming in and then another three years until that money started to look meaningful.  I had to work my _ss off to get to where I am. I was not born into a sales level, I had to earn it as many others have.  I wish you continued success.

I forgot Diamond pro and the paid Zazzle designers. You have no idea how long, hard, and how much promotion I have done, as well as personal investment. Don't come and trumpet your success story and try to fluff over my complaint. I know what business is and I know what greed is, especially lovely in this joyous season. Merry and Bright to you too.

Here's the link in the forum for News & Information where product announcements are found. https://community.zazzle.com/t5/news-information/ct-p/zrinfo

Hi @CaristysDecor

I will be merging this thread with the original so we can keep all of the replies together.

In regards to new products, @PAZP is right, we send emails post on the forums and update the creator news within your store.

This is nuts! I haven't had any of my stats update for 7 days. You guys need to start at least providing updates on when this will be fixed. This is just awful customer service.

Maybe there was a revolt in IT Dept. and the prolonged silence from Management is to stave off a sitewide panic attack. Maybe someone stole the Algorithm!

I also show no views for five days now, despite sales during that same period.

No views for 5 days, a few sales but Z rank dropped anyway- been working harder than ever.

same. no views for 5 days (but store zRanks remain unchanged).

My Z rank actually increased for once. Although it's been a long time coming.
