Seems to have stopped updating sometime yesterday (likely afternoon). Last viewed sort shows a couple products at one day but everything else is 2 days or more

In addition to views not updating, I don't think my products created after 11-29 are indexing. When I search Z for an exact name that was uploaded on 11-30 then click newest, I get "No Results Found." Results are the same whether I'm logged in or not. They show up IF I SEARCH MY STORE, but NOT in main search. Poking around under random 'newest' products I see that some designers products with created dates of 12-2 show so it must not be affecting everyone. I don't make sales through my "store", mostly just from marketplace search and 3rd party. This is disheartening.

Yes it is very disheartening, when we put so much time and work into preparing for the holiday season, and this happens....and what is so upsetting is the lack of communication from Zazzle about the situation. It would be courteous for Zazzle to let us know what is going on and to give us some reassurance.

It's every man for himself now. If they cared, we would have had an explanation days ago. No respect for the "creators" who have put so much trust in Zazzle.

Yes, we really need answers / reassurances. What's really inexplicable is that when you search for tissue paper, everything else BUT tissue paper comes up. This severely restricts sales. I have asked many times about this, but I don't receive any response.

That is a search engine trick. This is a highly competitive environment, and mostly you get answers like, "be sure and sell your products to your friends." Tissue is one of my staple sales, except when there is none. The way I overcame the search engine blind spot was to put my floral pattern tissues in a collection, Garden of Floral Tissue Paper. Other tissues I have in Categories which have sub-categories. Example: Christmas Category>Giftwrap>Tissue Paper>Color>Green.
The deeper you go, the better SEO you have.
Also, go to a Zazzle page of tissue paper and see what key words or categories Zazzle offers as suggested search terms to customers. Use those words in your tags.
I have never entered a forum so much in my life. I hate FB and social media, so that should give you an idea of how discouraged I am to not be working now, choosing to jaw the fat as being more interesting.

I thought this interesting and so I went and looked at a bunch of different types of products. Some things are getting into the marketplace with dates of 12/2. Other things have older dates like 11/28 and 11/30. Seems that not all product types are suffering the same indexing issues. My guess would be that since many designers are putting out lots of last minute products, the products that are being created at a high volume are having a bigger indexing issue than one that are being created at a lesser volume. Like the new socks right now are struggling to get into the marketplace, while mens neck ties seem to be indexing as normal... That was a good bit of research on your part...

Although my views are not updating too my Z rank has not dropped and the sales stats and list of royalties is still updating with each sale ... maybe the dropping rank is just a coincidence? My Z rank is sometimes dropping throughout the year for one point and a few days later it's up again. Just a thought...
But I agree, an update would be nice for everyone who's wondering what's going on - especially during the Holiday season 😊
I hope everything is back up and running soon and that all of you have a good last month of the year for your shops!

I think considering that this affects so many people, it's probably related to holiday traffic volume. There's no way to engineer for that ahead of time -- not even if you're one of the best network engineers there is. It's why the multi billion dollar industry of massively online gaming still needs to stress test the servers of all new games, now some 23 years into their industry's existence.
I'm sure they're working on it, and I'm sure that if they don't slay the monster during the holidays this year, things will still go back to normal come next year. We should be rooting for them achieving a smooth holiday season without issue next time.
In the meantime, I think the most important thing is for creators be feel secure that we get credit for our sales. So, I hope they're prioritizing at least one channel for that ahead of everything else. The rest can be triaged, but be it notifications, an account page, emails -- whatever -- something should be showing notice when things sell.

In this case, the system is not registering views for days, and is not updating the last sold date. It is also not identifying which products needs optimizing.
Therefore it appears that a person's store has had no views and no sales for over a week and has a number of unoptimized products. The system reads no sales as the last sold date isn't updating. It doesn't appear to measure this from sales reports. Zrank has dropped by 1-2 points for a number of people as a result. Zrank affects visbility in marketplace.
So i would say this is not a periodic standard site bug. This is a significant issue that needs to be addressed quickly

Exactly- it is not Annual Tradition at Zazzle. I throw out all "need optimizing" or "not enough view" designs everyday. I figure, if no-one has looked at this after 14 months, make something new and better. Yesterday I got a referral notice from two months ago, then it disappeared.

No new views for 8 days. Products are selling and it indicates no new view. I see that products are going into hidden...even after I have shared them, wondering if hidden could be turned off until views are fixed?

I have an old image -- what the Mona Lisa would look like if Michelangelo painted it. Absolutely uninteresting, but posting it as Leonardo DaVinci's Mona Lisa (DaVinci actually painted the Mona Lisa, if anyone reading this at all doesn't know) gets it under content review in about a day. Which should happen because that's dumb, even if it's not an actual violation of anything.
So, my products are getting views. Even the ones that don't get promoted. Even if I post something that plain doesn't deserve views, this experiment proves that views happen. This suggests that everything I've posted gets views.
And nothing. No notifications. All view counts zero. All my stats are like it's my store's first day.
I think at the very least Zazzle is deprioritizing newer designers, which leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I think I'll stop posting new products until ads leading to my store stop drawing traffic, and then decide whether to continue with this platform.
There are a lot of articles out there about why some may be better, but this first experience speaks more than any random review blog ever could. It would be hard to have a worse first impression because Zazzle is failing everywhere it matters, and at the worst time of the year to fail.
The problem is that with new sellers a platform like this is establishing trust. There is absolutely no way I can be sure there aren't sales that I am not getting credit for, just as an example of what this communicates to a newcomer. And for that to happen with no communication from the company is unprofessional at best and suggests a detached and aloof management at worst.
As if this isn't all bad enough, I was on the platform several days before I noticed that by default they give themselves permission to sell your art as digital content and by default they allow your work to be sold elsewhere. Is there a point of operation this company takes seriously?

The oldest product in your store is only a week old. I don't know what kind of success you were expecting in such short time but it seems a bit soon to be making such harsh assessment of the platform. I think one thing we all need to remember, whether brand new like yourself, a middle of the road hobbyist like myself, or a top level old timer who's made a full fledged business out of Zazzle and depends on it as their sole income - what we all tend to forget sometimes is that Zazzle is a completely free to use platform. Sure, there are bumps and glitches along the way but it's not like we're paying for a service and not getting it - Zazzle costs us nothing but our time and, well, I just think we need to remember that.

Hey everyone, we're very sorry that this issue is not resolved. We hope that it will be resolved as soon as possible.
Moving forward, I do ask that conversation in this discussion thread be focused on the issue at hand, which is the Last Viewed Date (and other product statistics) not updating properly in the store management page. This conversation has grown in length, largely due to off-topic conversation, and in order for the moderator team to keep up with relevant posts we need to refocus a bit here. Moving forward, if we find posts that are not constructive and pertinent to conversation they will be removed.

My views stopped 11/20/2022. The thread began 10/13/2022. None of my fall design was seen. None of my Christmas work has been seen, and I doubt it is even indexed, The only views are mine, for purposes of outgoing promotional links. Please don't confuse fixing Views not Updating with a sudden Drop in Sales records, which should be a priority. Dropping Z ranks because we have no views thus sales, loses ground we have worked for in search engine placement. My store is 7 years old.

The system updated last evening, however there has been no further indexing today in terms of last viewed date. Highly unlikely that nothing of mine has been viewed in the last 24 hours

It's the same for me, and the customers who purchased from me surely must have looked at what they were buying. Both views and sold are caught up only as far as yesterday.

Last Sold is totally up to date today, Tuesday. I can't say for Last Viewed, though yesterday's views are now listed as a day old, which means they moved just as they ought to.

it seems to be hit and miss. I'm assuming everything updated the other day but it seems to be slow at updating since then. And I don't show any new views in the last 24 hours, which is odd.
