It has been about four days at this point and these items have not been indexed to marketplace

Yes, this is happening to me again too. I posted many items 3 days ago and they are not showing up in my public store either. I will try to be patient and hope that they come through soon,

there is a lot of thing that may no be working properly on zazzle at the moment, maybe a quick server maintenance is needed.

Hi There, does anyone of you have any news on this issue ?

I still have a 404 error page on the products page of my wildlifestudio store https://www.zazzle.com/store/wildlifestudio/products , and for all stores none of the products published after 17th of January shows up.

There never really is any news. Indexing gets backed up. We post and we wait. It catches up. Works well for a bit. Then gets backed up again. Sometimes for a day or two. Sometimes for a week. This has been the trend for quite a long time now. Maybe 2 years? I dont know anymore, time makes no sense to me anymore so it could be 4 years. Who knows. LOL. either way, we rarely get a direct response. Just know it happens globally so they're not going to fix it on individual accounts. It will all just catch up at once. Work for a while. Then get backed up again. Maybe its by design and we will not be told. Maybe they need a whole new server room with 200 additional servers. Idk! LOL. eventually it catches up tho. every time. But it can be frustrating. If you are planning items for a season or holiday, just plan WELL in advance to time for delays like this. Thats the advice I can give.

That is so true. Instead of 2 to 3 months ahead, I usually give Zazzle 4 to 5 months.

Same here. The products in my stores are made  public after a few days or a week in some cases. However, the views have not been updated either. Although it appears that I received views three days ago, I am aware that this is incorrect based on the associated links. I take care to post a few products daily but if they appear in bulk once a week, I think that maybe affects the Rank, the sales, etc. (since this happens, my sales almost stopped).

If products that we created are not appearing in store... does that mean that there's a glitch and they will eventually reappear or that they are permanently gone? I didn't get the chance to pin to Pinterest or add to a collection but can see some of my products in recently viewed. So long as they have not permanently gone then okay, they will reappear eventually...

Do we have to list here the products that aren't showing, or will they eventually become public, when whatever is broken is fixed? Not sure if I should be doing something or not.

They will index in the next few days and show up/become public. It's like a bottleneck that also gets jammed with a frozen chunk of juice. It will eventually push through and everything will come behind it. Until the next frozen chunk. Then it will be delayed again (for example, like 2 days ago things came through but not everything. Now it seems like products made from maybe 1/19 or 1/20 are stuck in the frozen bottleneck. They'll push through soon... but it will happen again. it's been a global issue for a while, off an on.)

Nothing we can do. It's good to make a post about it, imo, more for records and making sure its global, but not because posting about it will magically fix it. Just keep creating and being patient and planning ahead, because it will happen again. So if you are trying to make things for any holiday or shopping season, plan well in advance for backups and slow downs to avoid missing making it to market in time! ❤️ You never know when things are flowing smoothly or when things are a bit jammed!

No, you most likely will not need to list individual items. I had one issue a few years ago which needed moderator help to get fixed, but in most cases, the indexing works on my  listings when it starts chugging along again. 

I also do Postcrossing!

A ton of new stuff in my DrawingsOfKnitting store haven't shown up yet either - either backend, or public. From 3, 4 days ago. I've recategorized already published things too within the same shop, - over a week ago, and none of it has shifted either. Everything seems really s l o w. 

Edit to above:  the products DO show up of me on the backend in "show all products", but they're not in the category yet. So they've been created, they're just in limbo somewhere. I'm usually pretty patient because I know things take a while, but this is definitely different.

Replying to myself again, like a crazy person. 🙂 Posting a link to my product page, hoping maybe Scott or someone with a magic wand can take a look. I've made hundreds of products the past few days. Mostly in the RED NORDIC KNIT category. None of them even have that "one view", which I assume is the Zazzle content review person giving them a glance as they come through. But nada. And the category is sitting there empty. (I guess if I had any sense I'd just quick making stuff until this is resolved.)

Its a global issue. When things aren't showing up, or moving, its because indexing is backed up. Its happening to all of us. There was a push the other night but products from like 1/20 on onward are still stuck in indexing. You shouldn't stop creating new products, because you didn't cause this to happen. Your products will index and go live eventually and the things you've changed will update as well. In the meantime, keep creating, so when they do catch up they are already done! It can be VERY VERY frustrating, but you didn't break anything, and it's not just happening to you. Its the whole site.

 

And it will happen again. This has been an intermittent problem for quite a long time now. Indexing gets very backed up and it can take days, sometimes as many as 7-8 for things to push through. It's great when its working in 24 hours like it used to, but that doesn't seem to be the norm anymore, maybe eventually it will be again.

My store indicates that my latest product was a bunny pillow that I created on 1/20/24.  I have 34 products that have been created since 1/20/24 that are not indexed to the marketplace or my public status at my store.  All new trendy products for upcoming holidays and this slow to-index is really sad.

It's happening here as well.  My last product showing made is https://www.zazzle.com/adorable_black_cat_with_houseplants_magnet-256496241646995722 Created on: 1/19/2024, 1:34 PM but I have several other new designs from 1/23/2024 to the current date that are not showing up on the public side of my store.

Well it's slightly better.  Now my newest public product was Created on: 1/23/2024, 4:51 PM but I still have like 92 products made since then that are not yet showing on the public side of the store.

I'm kinda new so I thought it was something I was doing wrong. Scoured through all of the help pages at least twice looking for an answer. I was getting frustrated and down because I couldn't find any of my products in the marketplace. Wish I'd have found this thread before I went back through and tweaked the listings. I'm glad you guys know what's going on! 🙂

If the isssue started on 17th of this month  , then it's about 10 days now ... It's getting kind of frustrated now .

Not all good for me yet. Some stuff has updated views, most hasn't. And only 3 or 4 of the 25+ products I've made in the last 7 days have shown up in public view.
