My Designs Are "Out of The Place" When Viewed in Groups

I  have listings of a design with defferent background colors:

z forum.jpg

So, they were 'Grouped' together by Zazzle on the marketplace.  However, when viewing them under the group section on the actual product page by clicking the color icons :

My "designs" become these pics below which are defintely not how I designed them:

Please have the engineers either fix the problem or just disable "Grouping" if they can't fix it, so at least customers would not see these weird "designs" that do not make sense at all, thank you!

Here is the listing:

Here are MORE listings with the same issue:

So, what's happening is - you've published this same blue & yellow heart design on several background colors. So far so good for color grouping. But you also published some of those different colors on different shape options, too. So when you see the heart design is "out of place" after selecting a different color swatch from the product page, it's because it's actually linking to a different shaped sticker where you obviously sized & positioned the design differently to fit that particular shape option.

When you switch to a different color swatch from the product page, you can scroll down to "other info" and see the PID# for the actual published product it's "pulling" from. You can then put that PID# in the search bar to go directly to that product as published.

From that I can tell that for example your first link above is for

217873337434073350 - white, round

and that is color-grouped on the product page to

217926311022091862 - lavender, heart
217738857218402270 - blue, heart
217333417334087554 - black, round

and if you go to say 217702740286672969 - purple, round

it is color-grouped to

217389141187394520 - white, square
217738857218402270 - blue, heart
217333417334087554 - black, round

So it's not really that it is messing with your design placement, it's that the system is finding the same image on same product with only bg color being different, but isn't aware they are sometimes different shape options where the positioning doesn't translate the same.

You could try either publishing in just one shape (the customer can always choose a different one themselves), or designing your multiple-shape versions but using multiple copies of the graphic but with very different names to coax the system into grouping them into square, round, heart colors ... instead of the mix-up you have now.

What

Kudos for figuring out that one!

LOL. Well, fortunately the URLS he included in his post made it apparent he had different shape stickers (round, heart, square) making it easy to guess the problem, just had to check PIDs to confirm that yep the color-grouping is mixing shapes.

If you go to his second link for the lavender heart sticker and switch to the Classic Round shape option, it looks same as it does in his screenshot of where he started with classic round and switched to lavender color. Both ways is pulling design from heart shaped product and putting it on circle product which isn't working out.
