I really love the new feature in 'Personalize this template' that allows customers to adjust the size/position of their custom photos. This is only available when the placement photo has been set to 'Fill'. But I've noticed there's a problem when the design is part of a tiled pattern.
It's fine when you use the 'Design placement: Tile', but 'Design placement: Horizontal' doesn't work so well.
These screenshots of two different wrapping paper designs, show what the customer sees when they use the 'adjust' feature in 'Personalize this template'.
The 'Design placement: Horizontal' example shows a very small section with multiple tiny photos. The design elements have also changed. I'm not sure if I've set up my templates correctly or if it's a glitch.
On wrapping paper rolls, what the canvas we see in the Design Tool represents is completely different depending on whether one chooses Horizontal (30" x 36" canvas) or Tile (6" x6" canvas) placement so if you or the customer changes from one to another, the design is going to be drastically affected. I'm really not sure what issue you are trying to describe other than it relates to the two different placement options and template images, but this post might help you.
* Note: the green, red, and blue rectangles in my Horizontal placement guide are there just because I was trying to figure out which part of the design area was front & center in the "Holidays" in-situ preview.
