Photo templates not customizable

Now we have these wonderful frames and things (which I really thought were very cool), and then customers have NO WAY to customize them?

I checked this in Brave and Firefox, both the same: customers have NO IDEA there might even be an option to change the image. Also the logo image can't be changed.
On Chrome the page options still look the same (and functional) to me, but then I'm logged in.
I'm getting so tired of wasting hours and hours reporting bugs (especially since they rarely get fixed). Please check these things before you decide to change the editing options. Thank you.

Well, in Firefox the images for the logo and the "sun" can be changed once I move the mouse over it.

@MaggieA  Thank you, I see that now. I missed that, as it's not mention at the "personalize this design section". Not sure if customers will find this?

When we look at our own products you have to click on the hard to find "personalize this template" link in order to see the fields etc.

BUT when the customer looks at it, they see a big "personalize this design" button instead of the little link:

Frames and grids, you'll need to make your template fields AFTER you put the image in the frame or grid.

Because shapes are svgs it doesn't matter when you create your template.

@LMGildersleeve  I don't follow you. How else would you do it? I do add the image (or more images if it's a grid) and then after I've done that, I make it a template.

Yes Anne, try adding all your photos, get everything just right and then make them all templates. This is how I was taught to use them.

When I view this product on my iPad with Chrome, I get a white panel at the top which directs me to "select image or text to personalize".

An interesting juxtaposition
