Product HTML link is missing product type

Actually both HTML and BBcode are missing product type from the code. I’m talking about the wording that gets appended to the end of the product title: baby blanket, postcard, rubber stamp, etc. Example below is missing the words “Rubber Stamp”:

<div style="text-align:center;line-height:150%">
<a href="https://www.zazzle.com/corner_swirls_square_frame_wedding_photo_rubber_stamp-256300885335310140" rel="nofollow"><img src="https://rlv.zcache.com/corner_swirls_square_frame_wedding_photo_rubber_stamp-r_w0z27j_1024.jpg?max_dim=325" alt="Corner Swirls Square Frame Wedding Photo" style="border:0;" /></a>
<br/>
<a href="https://www.zazzle.com/corner_swirls_square_frame_wedding_photo_rubber_stamp-256300885335310140" rel="nofollow">Corner Swirls Square Frame Wedding Photo</a>
<br/>by <a href="https://www.zazzle.com/store/chibibi" rel="nofollow">Chibibi</a>
</div>

 The same code also does not display a proper Store Name. In my case the store is named “Sweet Creations” but what is displayed instead is my account name “Chibibi”. Not really critical but would be nice to have this fixed. Thank you.

I'm not entirely sure I understand, but this is what I see when I browse your product:

When I copy the link from Share button and post it here in the forum, for example, the title is incomplete and the name of the store is incorrect:

Your store is
https://www.zazzle.com/store/chibibi

That original URL name never changes no matter how many times you change the pseudo name in Settings. So the share code is reflecting the actual name, not the pseudo one.

Yeah, I kinda suspected that. If only I knew that when I first created Zazzle account haha! It would be nice though to have that “pseudo” store name displayed.

Oh, I see what you mean! I tried with a few of my own products - different product types, and none of them get the product appended to the end of the title, but they do all say my store name instead of my name. Hmmm... Well, hopefully someone from Z will look into it!

Your user name is your store name and in your case works just right 🙂 Lovely designs by the way! My username is silly so I renamed my store in the settings. That doesn’t show up in the code though.

Anyway, the important part is the title. it worked fine a few years back but at some point got revamped and we lost the product types.

@Natalia @Cat @ColsCreations I have reported that before (the product type matter). The variable is correct (I mean it exists) when you create the listing and you grab the code from that very first confirmation page but other than that the item variable is always missing. I noticed it many months ago and posted it here but I think nobody cared or understood what I meant to say. Yes, it would be nice if it would be fixed, smile.

Yes, it has been broken for a while. I had also been waiting for it to be fixed but finally decided to post. Good thing to know that others noticed the error as well.

Yes, sure did, lol. Now I just remember to always add the product type, smile.

I just recalled when posting collections my “pseudo” store name gets displayed, so it’s very much possible:
