products not showing up in backend search

products created in the last few weeks are not showing up in backend search. Showing as 'Sorry, no products found.'. For example all the new honey jars as well as other recently added products. nothing from my latest three collections shows up in backend search

 

However they are showing up in the public facing storefront and have presumably been added to marketplace.

@Harmony.

I think it's because products are not fully indexing into the back end department tree properly. They do know about it and it's been "passed on to the team" but no idea when it will get fixed.

That glitch started in February and hasn't been fixed yet.  Almost 2 moths already.
Is it a bug or a feature?
