Puzzle Mockup isn't showing pieces

The puzzle piece pattern is there... it's just a bit obscured by the heavy texture of the paintings themselves. I can see it more clearly on the second one. The first one is just so busy it hides the pieces well. I had to zoom in to be able to barely make it out.

I have others with similar patterns that I can easily see. These I cannot see at all even with enlarging them. But if you can see them then that works for me! Thanks for checking!

If you are adept with Photoshop, I would suggest creating a hidden puzzle with a plain white background and no other design.... that will show only the lines of the puzzle. Use a mockup of this puzzle and overlay it on top of your design mockup. If you change the blend mode to 'multiply' it will hide the white and only show the puzzle lines. Then you can adjust the levels to lighten or darken the lines depending on what suits your design. I did this with covers for paper plates where the heavier designs made them look totally flat instead of showing the depth of the plate.

I am not that good with photoshop. I will just have to be satisfied with it being a me issue and not a technical one.  Thanks so much.
