"Replace Product" small issue

I don't know if this is really a technical issue, but when I use the replace product feature, it keeps the design in my saved designs even after approval. That is no big deal, except that I have a few products that won't delete from my saved designs! I tried 3 or 4 times, and they pop right back up again.

Still bummed out that I don't have the "Replace Product" feature. 😞

same here ... I've observed that there is a earlier "core" group of designs that won't delete, even after more than a week after approval.

@Connie,   Mine does this too.  And it's making me confused, because it doesn't show the new or old designs in the saved designs.  (I could easily delete them.)  It just has my title, so I know it's that one.  And when I go to my store, it looks like nothing is happening.  I really wish they would have a specific saved design area for the ones in process - like Under Review or something.  There wasn't any instructions from Zazzle on how the process is supposed to work, did they?  If so, I haven't found that yet.

That would be SO helpfull, esp. when making lots of replacements it is impossible to keep up with what products are accepted!

Zazzle, is this going to be fixed, please? I still have 3 products that won't delete from my saved designs, no matter what.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this addition to Zazzle and am so happy they've allowed us to improve old designs. I know this is a work in progress, so I'll add what has become terribly frustrating to me in the hopes there is a fix-it list. 🙂

I spend hours improving very old products with better templates, etc. and they seem to process normally through the Submit Revision process

BUT somewhere between 30-minutes to 24-hours, 50% of those I've submitted no longer show the "under review" - AND - have not been updated. Sometimes the same product does this two or three times when I try to fix it.

Adding this info  as it's very time-consuming to redo the work and in hopes there is a 'fix-it' list associated with this new, wonderful process. 🙂

I'm also finding that the majority of mine fail to be updated and it is indeed time consuming to resubmit (plus there's the whole issue of not being able to delete the copies out of saved designs)

I'm giving them the 5 days wait time before I resubmit however I'm convinced that this is hurting sales.

The ones I'm redoing are only because the 'automagic' Morgana font replacement broke my templates so am feeling exasperated about it all

Yes, I'm finding it doesn't do any good to redo/resubmit. Give it a few days. But yes, I've seen the gray under review box go away, the product still not fixed, then the product actually broken (personalization broken, can't get into design tool), gray box come back again, then duplicates saved to my saved designs, then it's fine, fixed & working. Some products are fixed within a day or 2, others seem like they're taking the whole 5 days. I do wonder how many lost sales I've had for my best sellers with the template frozen, wrong font (I changed Morgana in a number of instances where the design looked horrible without Blooming Elegant), etc. Oh well. I can't dwell on that – time to fix as much as needed & move on.

Does it take 2 weeks?  Mine has not done anything for 2 weeks now.  And I'm not sure what to do, unless it's just leave it alone and wait.  But, sounds like 2 weeks has been too long.  And what should I do about it, keep starting over and do it over again, wasting a whole lot more time?  With all the changes Zazzle's making - including working out the glitches happening, it feels like a free range chicken pecking going on.  I could work on this or that, but accomplishing nothing at all. 🙄   Feels like Halloween's come too early for me.

How about responding to my several questions about when I (and others) will get access to the Replace feature. I need to get busy fixing the font issues created on my products as a result of the recent font changes. I don’t want to lose my SEO by creating new products in order to fix the issues.

Jaden, please post your questions in your own thread, to keep this one on topic. This thread is about being unable to delete products from saved designs after submitting for replacement.

I know, right? Nobody from Zazzle has even commented on this thread. I think it got lost in the shuffle. Now I have about 10 that won't delete after they are updated.

@Roberta Here are the first 4, I have more now. the product changes updated fine, but I am unable to delete the extras from Saved Designs. I delete them and they come right back.

Connie, sorry, I misunderstood that as well then, because it is a problem that asking products to be replaced moves to "saved designs" and not "under review" to begin with.

I hope this is the correct thread. After a modification I still can't delete the new versions of the design that are created automatically, does it still happen to others?

Yes, the problem still hasn't been fixed. I'm more and more reluctant to use this feature because they are piling up in my Saved Designs folder.
