Titles, Tags and Descriptions Not Updating

I have been optimizing products all weekend. I checked those products today, and they are still showing the old titles, tags and descriptions. When I go into the product to edit the details, everything is updated with the correct text. Very frustrating.

Sadly, it's been like that for quite some time (about a month). It was recognized in the old forum Technical Issues thread and apparently is still a work in progress. I generally do daily updates and I've seen it take several days before showing in the marketplace link.

I have been optimizing for over a month and I haven’t had any issues until yesterday. I literally had no issues the night before. It was very odd.

I have one that's been this way since June 1, of 2021. Official word is, it takes awhile for these changes to take effect. I have waited for over eight months and have asked twice in the forums about that specific product, and have been told twice that someone was going to look into it.
Therefore I believe that fixing the issue is beyond the capabilities of the engineering team here at Zazzle.

Yeah, as Patricia said, it's been that way for about a month. It's frustrating and hard to work this way. I hope it's fixed soon.

My experience has been that when you change titles and tags, then press done - those changes take on the back end, BUT THE LAST MODIFIED DATE DOESNT CHANGE. I assume this is why it doesn't update in the MP?

I hid some things on the backend that I don't want in a store anymore, and they're still showing up in the store, lol. So everything is upside down and delayed and weird. I am seeing changes to titles on the backend and in the URL, but not on the front end. So yeah. I think it, and the delayed and out of order indexing, is ALL related. Fingers crossed that this will be the magic week and things can get back to "normal"

I just did an update to tags on a product. Clicked done, last modified date changed to 2/14/22. Minutes later, the very same product showed last modified date as 1/21/22.
@Scott Am I the only one who has mentioned this last modified date thingie?

My titles don't update either. My missing products are still missing since before Christmas. They are floating around somewhere as occasionally they sell but they are not in the back end of my store or in search. When I chance on one through a link to a sale all the stats have been wiped to 0 and created date/last modified set to 01/01/01. I've given up all hope of anything being restored/working correctly now to be honest.

I have just noticed this happening today. I had the time to do a complete check on items I updated. I am sure an item is updated by looking at it using the incognito window of my browser. Most items update quickly and you will see the product listed when not signed in. If you look at it when signed it you are deceived because there is no way to tell if it is actually live. I think it would be great to have something at the top of the item page where all your listing info is saying if it is live. I made some duplicate items because they were optimal for the current sale. In one case it was a clock. I made the same design on a square clock so it is not a duplicate. After seeing this thread I am assuming ( shouldn't do that, assume ) items optimized eventually get listed. Until there is a way to let us know if items are in the marketplace I suggest you view them in a window where you are not signed in. I would hate to send someone to a page that is not listed. Just one more step .....

No. I see my updates when I am not signed in as myself but the optimized tags and titles are not updated when I'm signed in. No idea whether that means the optimization stuck or not. Also certain updates, such as changing the product picture doesn't update either way.

I am beyond frustrated.
I had duplicated a product, so deleted one and changed the title, description etc for the remaining one. I made those changes
