I have a mystery on my hands. For some reason it won't let me add this product:
https://www.zazzle.com/namaste_reflecting_white_lotus_flower_on_sky_blue_air_freshener-2563975937234...
to this collection:
https://www.zazzle.com/collections/reflecting_lotus_flower_on_blue_background-119087838692492973
I actually thought it was already in the collection, but it doesn't seem to be, so I'm confused. Maybe it's already there and that's why I can't add it - but it's just not showing up for some reason? Appreciate any clarification you can provide. Thanks!

I see the issue. It probably only impacts this one product being added to this one collection. I've passed it along to engineering.

How odd. I just added it to one of my collections quite easily!

Thanks for trying that. It is very odd. I can add it to other collections too, just not to that one.

Can you add any other product to that collection?

@Cat When this has happened to me from the back end I will try from the product page and it works- or vice versa. Try that and see if it works for you.

Thanks Shelli. Unfortunately, that's not working either. I don't know what's up, but something weird is going on. No matter how I try to add it to the collection, I get the little Attention exclamation point. It's really strange, I can add other products to that collection, and I can add that product to other collections, I just can't add that product to that collection! Maybe Zazzle just doesn't like me today! 😋

Cat did you ever find out what was happening? Is it fixed? Just being curious.

Thanks for asking! Still not fixed. @Scott indicated that he knew what was going on - probably some weird technical glitch, but it's still not working. It's not a big deal, these are not huge sellers or anything, just very strange.

I had the same thing happen to me today -- tried to add a product I created earlier today to a collection, only to get that alert with the small box with the exclamation mark that @Cat was referring to.
So as an experiment, I added another product created a few minutes ago. That product also could not be added to the collection.
The thing that both products had in common? They were both out of stock.

so I've tried with a third product that has been flagged as out of stock, and it also can't be added to a collection.
so I believe my theory is correct.
now, what happens to a previously instock product that's already in a collection that suddenly goes out of stock? does it disappear from the collection, or stay there?
I guess the only way to tell is to monitor that product and collection regularly. 🙂
