Sorry that nobody has answered your question. I’m not a computer or software expert by any means, but a server error can occur in Zazzle’s server (the server that hosts Zazzle’s huge site) OR it can happen on the server that hosts your web browser, or the server that hosts software that you use (Adobe Illustrator, Canva, etc.).

Hi Jadendreamer13,
I'm pretty sure it is a Zazzle issue.
I am able to upload these graphics on other POD sites.
Thanks for the suggestion 😁

@TerryLynn double check that in your images you've not already got a file name already called border2.png . The error could also be caused by a duplicated file name perhaps
I've also had server errors when my internet went out and tried to upload via my phone's hotspot and as @Jadendreamer13 said - it can happen at various locations.

Hi Sarah_H,
It is multiple graphics and no other graphics have those names.
I've been using the same Internet on my computer no hotspots always at the fixed location. Was able to upload previously.
This is a Zazzle issue. There are posts from May 2023 and before with the exact issue. Those were never answered.
Thank you for your suggestion 😁

Dumb question, but are you on a Mac and using the cloud? I noticed that sometimes the download symbol doesn't show and it's difficult to tell what images are actually local and which are on the cloud.

Oof - that's gotta be frustrating!! I get this error when my file is too large - maybe try resizing and see what happens? I think 50mb is the limit, but that's anecdotal based on my experience.
Good luck! Maybe also reach out to Z directly via the help page.

Hi bkthompson,
Size isn't the issue. I am going to contact Zazzle since the Moderators have not jumped in.
Thank you for your suggestion 😁

Right now I'm doing a work around changing the files to JPEG but it's a lot of work and the JPEG files I find harder to work with.
I'm going to contact Zazzle through Customer Service about the issue.
Thank you all for your help.

How's your connection?
I'm asking because I've been having the very same error for several days recently and it's been quite frustrating, but I noticed it always happened when my connection was slower then usual. Then, on the same days, I managed to upload those same designs, when the connection was in a better state.
I still think it's a Zazzle problem because I ever had the issue before (and my connection isn't always stable), and I could still upload everywhere else even like that...
Still, maybe try and upload from a different and faster connection and see if it works. Keep us updated 🙂

Try changing the files to JPEG and then upload until I hopefully find an answer or work around.

My connection has been fine. I've tried everything but nothing works for those two file types. I'm just changing them to JPEG and going on my way. I know it's not my computer as I can upload those file types on other sites.

Hi MasterpieceCafe,
Not even JPEG? I have emailed customer service but haven't heard back since giving them the info they asked for. Will let you all know when I hear back from them.

I've been working with Customer service and they want me to send them the graphics and a lot of other things. In the meantime I was able to upload a PNG file which was one that I wasn't able to upload before. I need to get back to them but I've had a 2 week run on family emergencies and medical issues of my own and really just haven't had time.
Now though I'm having a different upload problem. A lot of JPEG files I try to upload come up with an error message saying it is under the size needed to be uploaded. It has to be a larger size (I can't remember the size off the top of my head) but things I have previously uploaded have been grayed out so I can't use them now and they are not all small files but a lot of them are important. I can't use my profile picture, my logo, my product in situ pics and some large graphics that I've used before. I'm so perplexed 🤔. I have medical appointments all this week but am going to try to fit in some hours to get to the bottom of this. 😖. If anyone has any clues please post them until I find out more from CS.

I am so sorry I have been absent guys to have had a medical issue which has put me down for a bit I'm feeling better now so I need to get on this issue is not only can I not now just that I previously appeared out in my images library and I get an error message that says they have to be $4,000 something by 4,000 something it's crazy.

Ok no more talk text that came out gibberish. New error message file has to be 4000 x 4000. So all images in my image library that are smaller are greyed out and I can't use them. Even graphics I've used many times and the in situ pics downloaded from the product page.

Yes that is the error message I keep getting on SVG and PNG files. Now I've started getting an error message for JPEG files saying it needs to be larger. Check out my reply to MasterpieceCafe above for an explanation of what I am now experiencing.

I have this issue occasionally, including right now. I have spent a lot of time attempting things like resizing, or pairing down the image. I have even tried renaming images, which has worked in the past.
It is hard to get sales, both for myself and for Zazzle if I cant upload the images needed to create.

Tested and having the exact same problem with PNG (non transparent) and some PDF files. JPG work well, even large, heavy files.
Issue 100% not on our end.

I am having problems uploading files as well. I am having to use a smaller png file to create my contest collection products so that is limiting the size of items I can use it for as well. I have tried multiple times for the last 3 or 4 days. ☹️ I even drove to my sister's house in case it was my internet and it still didn't work.

This is still an ongoing issue for me. I am unable to upload PDFs over about 3- 5mb. I don't feel comfortable using such small images to scale up for things such as large posters, leggings, blankets, etc. I rarely use patterns so I can't just put a tiny image on something and tile it.
Anyone else still having trouble uploading images?

It seems many of us are and it didn't correct itself while I've been sick. I'll be home from rehab on Monday and jump back in to try to figure it out.

I'm getting this issue while trying to upload a video. The video issue was reportedly fixed, with a re-rollout from Zazzle. I uploaded one video with no problems this am. I made a small tweak to it and tried to upload the updated version, and I'm getting this same error message as well. Tried a few troubleshooting steps with no results.
I've been able to upload .png files, for the most part, but I've also gotten the error message once or twice on .pngs that are not unusual in their creation or size. I'm sorry for the folk who are completely blocked on this. I hope it's fixed soon!

I tried again this morning to upload a couple of large-ish? (around 20mb) pdf files and I am still unable. I was able to upload them (just a few minutes ago as a test) to Canva with no issue so it is not my internet or the files. I hope we can get this looked into so we can load the files we need to create for the busy season coming quickly!
eta- I was also unable to upload a 25 second video, but a 7 second video uploaded for me.

Good morning! I know I keep repeating myself, but I still can not upload my PDF files larger than 3-5mb and I can not upload my videos anywhere from 16-30ish mb . The PDFs are the most important because they are holding me back on designing larger items, but I would like to upload my videos as well. The PDFs I want to upload are from 10-30mb.
Since this seems to be a (weirdly) small number of people having this issue is there anything more I can do on my end to troubleshoot? I am just getting the same server error that the others in this thread posted so there is nothing really that I can screenshot. Please @ me if I can be of help in figuring this out! It has been over 2 weeks that I can't upload files and a lot more for others.

I tried again multiple times to upload a video that is 16 seconds and 16.8mb and was unsuccessful. I sped it up a little bit more to 10 seconds which made the video 10.3mb and I was able to successfully upload it. I don't know if it is because I reduced the time on it (though we are supposed to be able to upload longer videos than that) or if it was because 16.8mb is just too big of a file. Not sure if this info will help in troubleshooting or not, but I thought I would add it. I am still unable to upload a 10mb (or larger) PDF. So that is weird.

@Malissa Sorry my upload hack didn't work for you. I also get the error if I'm trying to upload a file with the same file name as a previous upload. Have you checked it has a unique name? I always rename it after a failed attempt just in case it was a title issue
Am sure the Tech Team will fix it.
