Video Upload Fails around 50% of the time

I'm trying to upload videos, and about half the time I get an upload error. I can usually resolve it by trying again... sometimes multiple times. This is particularly frustrating because it takes so long to upload & process videos to begin with. Is there anything I can do on my end to ameliorate this problem? Using MS Edge with cable internet and upload speed of around 6Mbps

Same issue here. I’m exporting files from Adobe Premiere Rush. I thought it was something in particular with it, but I guess it maybe with the upload process here.

I uploaded some late last night and they went smoothly. I have a hunch that perhaps it was because Zazzle's server was less taxed at that time of day? Maybe? Well, whatever the issue is, I think it's on their end (though faster upload speeds on my end wouldn't hurt either!)

Maybe the websites that routinely host videos (Youtube!) are optimized for many users uploading videos simultaneously but Zazzle isn't. I haven't uploaded any videos because I'm still working on collection covers but I remember when cover photo upload crashed for a week after they made the big announcement that products with cover photos would be favored in the MP. Videos are way more labor intensive so there won't be such a big rush, but maybe more simultaneous uploading than they budgeted for.

I came here to post this same thing. At first when I got the error message, I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what was wrong with my video... but you are right that it just resolves itself after multiple tries (sometimes a lot of them). It's frustrating for sure.

Yup. At first I thought that I had to rename it before trying again, but that doesn't seem to make any difference.

Thanks for this thread! Just what I was looking for. I've only had the Server error failure twice so far. Sounds like I just need to keep trying until it gets through. Thanks again!

Yep. It went through on the 5th attempt.

Still not sure whether I did it wrong, though. I created the video specifically for vertical format (9:16) so it fits the longer pins on Pinterest. On Zazzle, it's just a black rectangle unless I click on it, and then it's too tall for the screen (on desktop); maybe it looks fine on people's mobile phones.

Anyway, it's there now, so thanks again for prompting me (via this thread) to keep re-trying the Upload process. 👍

Has anyone ever figured out a solution to this problem? I have ONE 8 second video I'm trying to upload, and I get the same server error every time I try (about 15-20 tries so far).

OY! You could try re-naming it and see if it makes any difference. I did that a few times and it seemed to help, but it may have just been a coincidence. I've had best luck uploading them during off peak hours like at 2am or something.

I guess I'll have to try at 2 am. It sure isn't going through any other time. It's not even a big file- many of my images are a lot bigger, and they upload fine.

Well, I tried at 2 am, and it still won't work. I'm not going to waste any more time trying to make videos. At least I only did one video that only took a couple minutes to make. I'm out the cost of the mockup, though.
